“And the dawns here are quiet...” - this is a story about the war. The action takes place during the Great Patriotic War. At one of the railway sidings, soldiers of a separate anti-aircraft machine-gun battalion are serving. These fighters are girls, and they are commanded by foreman Fedot Evgrafovich Vaskov. At first this place was a quiet corner. The girls sometimes fired at the planes at night. One day something unexpected happened. The Germans showed up. Pursuing them in the forest, the girls, led by Vaskov, enter into an unequal battle with them. They die one after another, but rage and pain, the desire for revenge help Vaskov win.

    slide 3

Fedot Vaskov is thirty-two years old. He completed four classes of the regimental school, and in ten years he rose to the rank of foreman. Vaskov experienced a personal drama: after the Finnish war, his wife left him. Vaskov demanded his son through the court and sent him to his mother in the village, but the Germans killed him there. The foreman always feels older than his years, since from the age of 14 he begins to work. Fedot Evgrafovich Vaskov (Andrey Martynov)

    slide 4

Junior Sergeant Rita Osyanina married the “red commander” at the age of less than eighteen. She sent her son Alik to his parents. Her husband died heroically on the second day of the war, and Rita found out about it only a month later. Rita learned to hate and voluntarily went to the front to avenge her husband. She has a son, Albert (Alik), about whom the mortally wounded Rita tells Vaskov and asks to take care of him. Rita Osyanina (Irina Shevchuk)

    slide 5

Sonya Gurvich is a girl from the doctor's family. Her parents most likely died in Minsk. At that time she was studying in Moscow, preparing for the session. In the detachment, she was a translator. Sonya Gurvich (Irina Dolganova)

    slide 6

Galya Chetvertak does not know her parents. She was thrown into an orphanage. Accustomed to surround everything with mystery, she made the educators and teachers worry about this. Galya told everyone that her mother is a medical worker. It was not a lie, but desires posed as reality Galya Chetvertak (Ekaterina Markova)

    Slide 7

Liza Brichkina was the daughter of a forester. One day, their father brought a guest to their house. Lisa liked him very much. He promised to place her in a technical school with a hostel, but the war began. Lisa always believed that tomorrow would come and be better than today. Lisa was the first to die. She drowned in the swamp, rushing for help. Liza Brichkina (Elena Drapeko)

Zhenya Komelkova (Olga Ostroumova) “Redhead Komelkova, despite all the tragedies, was extremely sociable and mischievous. Either for the amusement of the entire squad, he will bring some lieutenant to numbness, then at a break to the girl’s “la-la” he will dance the gypsy according to all the rules, then suddenly he starts telling a novel - you will listen.

    Slide 9

All the girls tragically die. The story ends with a letter from a careless tourist who learns that “they once fought here too,” and talks about seeing an old man without an arm, and with him a young guy named Albert Fedotovich. The tourist also writes that they erected a monument on the grave. "I wanted to help them carry the stove and - did not dare." And he ends his letter with the following phrase: “The dawns here are quiet, quiet, I just saw it today.” This story tells us about young girls who, at the call of their hearts, went to the front and died so that we, the next generation, could live.

Boris Vasiliev is a famous writer, a former participant in the Great Patriotic War. He saw with his own eyes the cruelty and horrors of the war, he knows firsthand what he later, in peacetime, decided to tell his readers. His best work, in my opinion, is “The Dawns Here Are Quiet”. Recently, a lot of talented and truthful has been written, but the stories of B. Vasiliev have not been lost in all the variety of military topics. This is primarily due to the bright and heroic images created by the author. And the dawns here are quiet...

5 slide

"The Dawns Here Are Quiet" - a story about women in the war. Many works are devoted to this topic, but this one is special. The story is written without excessive sentimentality, in a tough laconic manner. She tells about the events of 1942. German saboteurs are thrown into the location of the anti-aircraft machine-gun battery, commanded by foreman Vaskov. At first, the foreman thinks that there are two Germans, so he decides to destroy the Nazis with the help of his unit, in which there are only girls.

6 slide

Five anti-aircraft gunners were selected for this task. The foreman performs the task, but at what cost ?! Vaskov is a participant in the Finnish war, he knows the area where the saboteurs go. Therefore, he confidently leads his unusual fighters to complete the task. At first, the girls had a low opinion of their commander: “a mossy stump, twenty words in reserve, and even those from the charter.” The danger brought all six together, revealed the extraordinary spiritual qualities of the foreman, who was ready to take on any difficulties, but only to save the girls.

7 slide

Undoubtedly, Vaskov is the core of the story. He knows a lot and knows how, he has front-line experience, which he is trying to pass on to his fighters. He is laconic and appreciates only deeds. The foreman absorbed the best qualities of a defender, a soldier, thanks to the feat of such Vaskovs, and a victory was won. The assistant foreman in the group was Sergeant Osyanina. Vaskov immediately singled her out among others: “Strict, never laughs.” The foreman was not mistaken - Rita fought skillfully, she avenged her dead border guard husband, for her ruined life, for the desecrated Motherland. Before her inevitable death, Rita tells the foreman about her son. From now on, she entrusts the boy to Vaskov, a reliable and congenial person.

8 slide

Zhenya Komelkova has her own scores to settle with the Germans. She saves the foreman and the group three times: first, at the canal, stopping the Germans from crossing. Then he stabbed the German who was attacking Vaskov. And, finally, at the cost of her life, she saved the wounded Rita, leading the Nazis further into the forest. The author admires the girl: “Tall, red-haired, white-skinned. And the children's eyes are green, round, like saucers. Sociable, mischievous, a favorite of others, Komelkova sacrificed herself for the sake of a common cause - the destruction of saboteurs.

Description of the slide:

1. Modern literature about the Great Patriotic War The Great Patriotic War has already become history for us. We learn about it from books, films, old photographs, the memories of those who discover new aspects and problems in it. In Y. Bondarev's novel "Hot Snow" a small episode is shown, part of the Battle of Stalingrad. He describes a group of people of different characters, with different lives before the war. And the actions of these people, placed in extreme, inhuman conditions, are just as different in an extreme situation as they themselves are different.

3 slide

Description of the slide:

With all his work, the author claims that all the miscalculations of the top leadership of the soldiers closed in this war with their heroism, with their bodies. Let us recall how Lieutenant Kuznetsov's men dug into the frozen ground without the necessary equipment, and then, tired and exhausted, heroically repelled a tank attack. Is it possible, after reading these lines, to ever forget about the enormity and heroism of this war? Is it possible to want to fight again?

4 slide

Description of the slide:

The same topic is also touched upon in the work of V.P. Nekrasov and “In the trenches of Stalingrad”. The author tells the story on behalf of the protagonist Yuri Kerzhentsev. The story touches upon such moral issues as the question of the reasons why many people became traitors. The main thing in the story is the question that our soldiers, due to the irresponsible, criminal attitude of their superiors, had to fight without food, weapons and medicines.

5 slide

Description of the slide:

There is a protest in the story against Stalin's methods of warfare, against Stalin's commissars, who carefully observed the words and behavior of a person, and this person was going to his death. There are no generals, no political workers, no “leading role of the party”, but only soldiers and their commanders, there is the Stalingrad trench, courage, heroism and patriotism of the Russian people. V. Nekrasov sought to convey to readers that the war was won only thanks to patriotism.

Description of the slide:

Vasiliev's first work, entitled "Tankmen", was written in 1954, and in 1955 this play was accepted for production at the Central Theater of the Soviet Army. However, shortly before the premiere, the performance was banned. In 1954, Boris Vasilyev retired from the army with the rank of engineer-captain, the reason for this was his desire to engage in literary activities. Success came to the author in 1969 after the publication of the story “The Dawns Here Are Quiet...” in the journal Yunost. Vasiliev's work was extremely popular among readers. In 1971, a performance based on the story was staged by director Yuri Lyubimov at the Taganka Theater, and in 1972, the film of the same name by Stanislav Rostotsky, a classic of Soviet cinema, appeared. The novel "The Negation of the Negation", published by Vasiliev in 2004, entered the top ten most read books in 2005.

Description of the slide:

In 1971, according to his script, the famous film "Officers" was shot with Georgy Yumatov and Vasily Lanov in the lead roles. From the pen of Vasilyev also came out the novels “I was not on the lists” (1974), “Tomorrow there was a war” (1984). In 1973 Vasiliev's famous novel Don't Shoot the White Swans was published. In the late 1980s, Boris Vasilyev actively participated in public and political life: he was a deputy of the First Congress of People's Deputies of the USSR, a member of the Commission of the Congress to investigate the events of 1989 in Tbilisi. Description of the slide:

3. Analytical reading of the work “The Dawns Here Are Quiet” There are many books in the world, all of them cannot be counted in a lifetime. But I want to talk about a work that touches on a topic that deeply concerns me - the topic of war. In this story, Vasiliev describes the life and death of five anti-aircraft gunners. Having come to war of their own free will, almost unable to shoot, they die at the hands of fascist intelligence, defending themselves and their homeland. Women and girls, very young and young, the war does not set boundaries of age and gender, here everyone and everyone is a soldier. There were Germans in the rear, and every soldier felt his duty to the Motherland. Stop and destroy the enemy at any cost. And they will stop him, but at the cost of their lives. The narration is conducted on behalf of the commandant of the junction Vaskov.

10 slide

Description of the slide:

The whole story is based on memories. Within the framework of the post-war period, there is a story about the past horrors of an inhuman war. And this plays an important role in the ideological and artistic perception of the story. This story is written by a man who has been and gone through the entire war, so the whole of it is written believably and excitingly, with a vivid highlighting of all the horrors of the war. The author devotes his story to the moral problem of the formation and transformation of the character and psyche of the individual in war conditions. The painful theme of war, unfair and cruel, the behavior of different people in its conditions is shown on the example of the heroes of the story. Each of them has his own attitude to the war, his own motives for fighting the Nazis, except for the main ones, and they are all different people. And it is these soldiers, young girls, who will have to prove themselves in the conditions of war; some for the first time and some not. Not all girls show heroism and courage, not all remain firm and steadfast after the first battle, but all the girls die.

Evgenia Komelkova Zhenya Komelkova is the soul of the company, where she is - laughter, jokes, songs. Tall, slender, with wonderful red hair and green mermaid eyes, Zhenya does not act very nicely - she starts an affair with a married colonel, a staff commander. Zhenya has her own pain. Her father, a red commander, mother, sister, brother were shot, and Zhenya was “hidden by an Estonian woman in the house across the street”, and she saw how her relatives were killed. She has a strong character, “despite all the tragedies, she was sociable and mischievous”, supported everyone, joked.

Sofia Gurvich Student Sonya Gurvich grew up in a friendly and very large family. She “worn dresses altered from her sisters’ dresses,” but did not lose heart: she ran to the reading room, to the Moscow Art Theater, and once noticed “that it was no coincidence that a bespectacled neighbor in lectures disappears with her in the reading room.” And then there was their only, unforgettable evening, and five days later the war began, and the boy volunteered for the front. Examining the deceased Sonya, Vaskov sighed: “That's why you shouted. You managed to shout because the blow he had on the peasant was delivered. He did not reach the heart the first time - the chest interfered. Vaskov painfully realizes the terrible essence of what happened. Having prepared a grave for the deceased Sonya, he thought: “... Sonya could give birth to children, and those would be grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and now there will be no this thread. A small thread in the endless yarn of humanity, cut with a knife ... "

Galina Chetvertak Galya Chetvertak was brought up in an orphanage and had a rich imagination. She composed fairy tales that in the monastery where their orphanage was located, the ghost of a “bearded monk” wanders at night, treasures buried by monks are hidden. However, all of Gali's stories are "not lies, but desires masquerading as reality." The fiction about her mother - a "medical worker" - was born by Galya's passionate dream of having a family ... Galya Chetvertak was mowed down by machine gun fire

Margarita Osyanina As if anticipating how short her life path will be, Rita marries at seventeen, gives birth to a son at eighteen, and becomes a widow at nineteen: her husband, "Senior Lieutenant Osyanin, died on the second day of the war in the morning counterattack." She was the assistant foreman in the group. Vaskov immediately singled her out among others. The foreman was not mistaken - Rita fought skillfully, she avenged her dead border guard husband, for her ruined life, for the desecrated Motherland.

15 slide

Description of the slide:

Before her inevitable death, Rita tells the foreman about her son. From now on, she entrusts the boy to Vaskov, a reliable and congenial person. Rita's unparalleled courage is striking: not wanting to be a burden for Vaskov, a seriously wounded young woman shot herself in the temple. After burying Rita and asking for forgiveness from the killed girls, Vaskov, beside himself, almost losing his mind, wanders "towards the Germans": "The revolver with the last cartridge was tightly clamped in his hand."

Description of the slide:

Elizaveta Brichkina Love came to Liza Brichkina here, at the junction, a few weeks before her death. This simple, selfless girl immediately gave her heart to Sergeant Vaskov. Her life was not easy. Lisa spent all nineteen years in the hut of her forester father, who drank heavily. The girl looked after her seriously ill mother, “fed, washed, scraped”, giving up her own life: “And she was waiting for tomorrow.”

17 slide

Description of the slide:

Lisa sincerely believed that happiness lay ahead. And then the war began. And here, in the severity of military everyday life, her heart began to beat often, often for the first time - Lisa fell in love. “Our Brichkina fell in love, girls! In the darling - the military fell in love! The girls laughed at her. Lisa Brichkina died while on a mission. Hurrying to get to the junction, to report on the changed situation, Liza drowned in the swamp: “Liza saw this beautiful blue sky for a long time. Wheezing, she spit out dirt and reached out, reached out to him, reached out and believed.

Description of the slide:

Petty Officer Fedot Evgrafovich Vaskov German saboteurs are thrown into the location of the anti-aircraft machine-gun battery, commanded by Petty Officer Vaskov, and the commander has only six young fragile girls under his command. Sergeant Major Vaskov decides to destroy the German invaders. Bykov shows how the characters of all the characters are revealed in a dangerous situation. So, at first, the girls had a very low opinion of their commander: “A mossy stump, there are twenty words in reserve, and even those from the Charter.” But the danger brought all six together, changing the opinion of the foreman. Vaskov absorbed the best qualities of a warrior, ready to expose himself to bullets, but save the girls and fulfill his duty: “Vaskov knew one thing in this battle: do not retreat.

19 slide

Description of the slide:

Do not give the Germans a single piece on this coast ... And there was no one else in the whole world: only he, the enemy, and Russia. Only the girls still listened with some third ear: whether they were still hitting rifles or not. Beat means alive. It means that they keep their front, their Russia. Hold!". Vaskov takes four Germans prisoner: “Tears flowed down his dirty, unshaven face, he was shaking in a chill, and laughed through these tears, and shouted: “What, they took it? ... They took it, right? .. Five girls, five girls there were only, only five!.. But you didn’t get through, you didn’t go anywhere and you’ll die here, everyone will die!.. I’ll personally kill everyone, personally, even if the authorities have mercy! And then let them judge me! Let them judge!"

20 slide

Description of the slide:

5. Comparative analysis of the film by S. I. Rostotsky and the story The film was shot very close to the text of the book, and the differences can be found in minor details: *Many of the remarks of foreman Vaskov in the book were his thoughts. * Lisa Brichkina, according to the book, was from the Bryansk region, according to the film, she comes from the Vologda region, hence her “okay” dialect. * In the book about the death of Galya Chetvertak, Vaskov tells Rita and Zhenya. In the film, the girls bury their murdered friend, which is subsequently reported to the foreman. * In the book, the son of Rita Osyanina was called Albert (Alik), and Igor was the name of Vaskov’s son, who died in the village before the war (“my mother didn’t save me”). In the film, Igor's name is precisely the son of Osyanina. In addition, Vaskov, his adoptive father, he calls "dad" (in the book - "tya").

21 slide

Description of the slide:

* In the book, Vaskov captures four saboteurs, and kills the fifth, who tried to rush to the weapon, with the last cartridge from the revolver. In the film, one of the remaining four tries to kill Vaskov, still getting to the weapon, but the foreman is ahead of him and kills him from a machine gun, which he takes from the just shot saboteur, as a result of which only three Germans are captured, including the group commander (in the rank of Hauptmann) (in the book about the capture by Vaskov, the commander of the saboteurs is not mentioned). * In the book, Rita Osyanina knocked out an observation balloon from an anti-aircraft machine gun, and even at the front. In the film, she shot down a German reconnaissance aircraft - already at the junction. In addition, in the book, during the battle with the Messerschmitts, which also took place at the front, in addition to two wounded, one anti-aircraft gunner was killed - “a carrier, a snub-nosed, ugly fat woman who always chewed something quietly.”

22 slide

Description of the slide:

After reading the work of Boris Vasiliev, it seems to me that everyone will think more than once about the war with its senselessness and consequences. This work should leave an indelible impression on the modern generation, so that everyone thinks about how the war does not happen again. After reading “The Dawns Here Are Quiet...”, it seemed to me that I myself, together with the girls, had been in combat conditions, saw the enemy and the death of anti-aircraft gunners. This once again emphasizes the skill of the writer. In my opinion, the work is written interestingly and convincingly, everything is truthful and natural. Every detail, from the description of the crossing, the forest, the roads, to the characters and the scenes of their death, is important for a single, whole perception of the story. And Boris Vasiliev, it seems to me, did not exaggerate anywhere. The work is written simply and accessible, makes a strong impression. Conclusion.

23 slide

Description of the slide:

In our time, such works are simply necessary, so I wanted to talk about one of them. It is the skill of such writers as Vasiliev that reveals and emphasizes the inhumanity of war. And it seems to me that such works as the story “The Dawns Here Are Quiet...” are relevant and sound like a warning to us. The theme of war is relevant at any time, because people die there. And the author, with the help of his talent and skill, was able to prove once again its relevance. The author describes all the hardships, injustices and cruelties with inimitable simplicity and brevity. But this does not harm the perception of the story. Scenes from the life of girls are capacious and brief, but give a complete picture of each heroine. In his characters, the author shows different types of people, their behavior, and Vasilyev, in my opinion, does this especially well. Vasiliev is not just a writer, but a writer-psychologist. And he learned this from life, war, which taught him to understand the psychology and actions of people.
