The angels of the Apocalypse sounded their trumpets. Seven trumpets of angels
The Revelation of John the Evangelist is read.
On weekdays of the Lenten period, we continue to meditate on the book of the Apocalypse of John the Theologian, since passages from the Apostle (as well as the Gospels) are not read during the divine services of these days.
Last time, we read the 8th chapter of the book of the Apocalypse, which says that after the opening of the seventh seal, seven more angels appear, preparing to blow. They trumpet - and the sounds of the first four trumpets bring disasters, natural disasters, similar to those that we usually call "the plagues of Egypt." As a result, a third of all living things, including plants and animals, perish. If during the removal of the first four seals a quarter of everything perishes, then now the third, that is, Divine punishments are aggravated. At the end of chapter 8 it says that it will be even worse: woe, woe, woe to those who live on earth from the rest of the trumpet voices of the three angels.
1. The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to earth, and the key was given to it from the treasury of the abyss.
2. She opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke came out of the pit, like smoke from a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the well.
3. And the locusts came out of the smoke upon the earth, and power was given to them, such as the scorpions of the earth have.
4. And she was told not to harm the grass of the earth, and no greenery, and no tree, but only to one people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
5. And it was given to her not to kill them, but only to torment them for five months; and its torment is like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man.
6. In those days people will seek death, but they will not find it; wish to die, but death will flee from them.
7. In appearance, the locusts were like horses prepared for war; and on her heads there are, as it were, crowns that look like gold, but her faces are like human faces;
8. And her hair was like the hair of women, and her teeth were like those of lions.
9. She was armored, as if iron armor, and the noise from her wings was like the sound of chariots when many horses run to war;
10. she had tails like scorpions, and in her tails were stingers; her power was to harm people for five months.
11. She had the angel of the abyss as king over her; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek Apollyon.
12. One grief has passed; behold, two more woes follow him.

Said to be a star opened the pit of the abyss. The abyss is a place where, according to Jewish ideas, there were all unclean spirits, everything demonic, diabolical, satanic. In the New Testament, when the Lord wanted to heal the possessed, the demons asked not to be sent into the abyss, but to be allowed to enter the swine herd. Of course, the abyss didn't feel good for the demons either, so they didn't want to go back there.
We see here a figurative description of the destructive locust. We will not dwell on it in detail, but it is clear that locusts are also "execution", God's punishment. It harms not plants, but people, and does not kill, but suffering for five months. She does this with those who do not have the seal of God, but imprinted from the moment of sealing they are under the protection of God, and they are not afraid of the sorrows that come with the sounds of trumpets.
13. The sixth angel sounded, and I heard one voice from the four horns of the golden altar standing before God,
14. He who said to the sixth angel who had a trumpet: Release the four angels who are bound by the great river Euphrates.
15. And four angels were released, prepared for an hour and a day, and a month and a year, in order to kill a third of the people.
16. The number of cavalry troops was two darkness; and I heard the number of it.
17. So I saw in a vision the horses and on them the riders, who had armor of fire, hyacinth and brimstone on them; The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and fire, smoke, and brimstone came out of their mouths.
18. From these three plagues, from the fire, smoke, and brimstone that came out of their mouths, a third of the people died;
19. For the strength of the horses was in their mouth and in their tails; and their tails were like snakes, and had heads, and with them they harmed.
20. The rest of the people, who did not die from these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so that they would not worship demons and golden, silver, copper, stone, and wooden idols, which could neither see nor hear, nor walk.
21. And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

When the sixth angel blew, the four angels who were by the Euphrates river are set free, and the boundaries of the river are opened. Here again there is a hint of a threat to the Roman Empire from the Parthian kingdom. At that time, there was a legend about the resurrected Nero. Nero was killed (according to other historical data, he killed himself), but ordinary people who loved him because he arranged spectacles for them and fed them with bread thought that he was not killed, but fled to the Parthians. It was believed that he was on good terms with the Parthian king Vologez, who in 62 defeated the Roman army. Nero was to return to Rome with the Parthian army and punish his enemies. In Russia, too, there were similar situations: there were False Nerons, we have False Dmitrys or, for example, Pugachev, who was False Peter III. Thus, it was believed that trouble for Rome could come from the East, because of the Euphrates.
Here, too, riders and cavalry (most likely Parthian) are described symbolically, beautifully and terrifyingly. Again, a third of the people were killed. It is said that the survivors did not repent, but remained in their pagan positions. They did not repent when the fourth part of the people; seven trumpets came, six of them sounded, a third of humanity perished, but the survivors again did not repent. There is a very fundamental Christian moment here: the Lord sees a different means for saving people than constant, even increasing repressions. One quarter is ruined, one third is ruined, so, in theory, it is necessary to destroy half of humanity already? Or is this not supposed to happen? We will find out the answer to this question in the following conversations.

In the last article, I showed a chronicle of the coming disasters that await the earth for the period from 2010 to 2017. Moreover, there are seven biblical years and there are seven Angels with trumpets that blow every year on the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur. Moreover, they trumpet not at the beginning of the biblical year (Pesach holiday), but six months later (Yom Kippur holiday). Why did God do this? God warns all the time and shows what awaits people.
First, in the first three years of warnings, God shows the methods and ways in which He will punish the sinful world of people. But even before this warning there is an additional warning, between the beginning of each biblical year and the beginning of each year of the Anegels with trumpets, this is half a year. God warns twice before the start of punishment, giving people time to atone for sins and prepare for future events. Let's remember when and what the first angel blew. It was September 18, 2010. According to these verses, it is clear to everyone that the first instruments of God's punishment are the natural elements hail and fire. If hail is a narrow concept, then fire has a broad meaning, it is heat, fires, drought, and even fire from volcanic eruptions. Now let's look at the events since the beginning of the first biblical year, from 03/30/2010. It all started with the eruption of a major volcano in Iceland, which paralyzed all the airports in Europe. It was the first harbinger of fire. The summer of 2010 was very hot for many states.
In many states, strong fires began, although they were before, but not of such force and not so often. Russia and America were especially affected by the heat and fires (more than others), because. these are two "great", from their point of view, states, but insignificant, from the point of view of God, because these "great" states produce weapons (death), sell them to everyone in a row, and primarily to underdeveloped peoples, and wage wars where possible. These two "great" states will be severely punished by God. Heat and fires, these are the first flowers before the coming storm. When the first Angel blew (09/18/2010), it began official warnings to the whole world, and first of all to these most sinful states. In the spring of 2011, the number of fires in Russia exceeded all fires in the summer of 2010. I will not repeat, because everyone who lives in Russia, America and in other countries could perfectly watch the fires and the unusual (record-breaking) heat.

Heat above the average was recorded in Northern Europe, western and eastern Russia and almost all of North America. It was colder than the average in the regions of central Russia, Western Europe and parts of the western United States and southwestern Canada.

Hotter than usual conditions have been recorded across much of Russia, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, the southern United States and Mexico. Colder than average temperatures prevailed over the northwestern United States, southwestern Canada and much of Australia.
- The ocean temperature for half a year became the eleventh record. It was warmest over the waters of the Labrador Sea, most of the central and western Pacific Ocean, the equatorial Atlantic, and most of the southern oceans in mid-latitudes.

We talked about fire in all its natural manifestations, this is what the first angel blew (the first angel blew, and there were hail and fire). But here it is talking about hail, so I will give examples of unusual hail around the world:

Of course, not only these natural disasters occurred during the year, but God specifically singled out these to warn humanity. There is very little time left, and humanity is doing nothing. Ignorance of the Holy Scriptures does not exempt from punishment, and this is written in the Bible. This is well illustrated in Leviticus 5. 10 days before Yom Kippur (the Jews called this day, because of their ignorance of the Torah, the day of Rosh Hashanah, this is the Jewish New Year), when the Angel blows, all people on earth must observe a strict fast and 10 days must atone for all sins and ask for forgiveness from God. And on Yom Kippur (on the tenth day) God must forgive people, those who deserve it. But mankind does not honor the Bible, does not recognize God and does not comply with the laws of God, therefore, instead of forgiveness in the biblical period (2010-2017), God gives punishments, the first three years of warning (minor punishments), then three years of punishments (with huge sacrifices), and in the last seventh year, punishment and forgiveness of the remaining people on the planet. This year, I hope everything is clear.
Now consider the coming second year, when the second angel will sound, i.e. in a few remaining days (08.10.2011).

And the third part of the animated creatures living in the sea died, and the third part of the ships perished.) - Revelation, ch. 8:8-9.
But remember that there is a period between the biblical period and the period of angelic influence. This is the period from Pesach (spring), when the next biblical year begins, to Yom Kippur (autumn), when each next angel trumpets.
The expression - like a big mountain, blazing with fire, means volcanic eruptions in the seas and oceans. After all, now there are warnings and God is not yet punishing humanity (the death of thousands is not millions, and even more so not billions of the inhabitants of the earth, all sinners). Before each eruption, God makes earthquakes, even if people do not hear it, because. this is a necessary preparation before the eruption. Now imagine that powerful eruptions and earthquakes begin in the seas and oceans - what will happen? Of course, powerful tsunamis, and this will lead to huge flooding of many territories. What we have seen along with the heat and fires are huge floods and floods in a number of countries. This is the first warning before the main warning. Flood examples:

Flooding implies many reasons, these are rains, storms and hurricanes, these are tsunamis and unusual tides that may soon appear, subsidence of the earth's crust and other causes that mankind is not yet aware of. Pay attention to the warnings of states with large populations, China, India, Pakistan and other Asian states. There is a special reason for this, which I will write about another time. From this October, floods will begin to intensify throughout the year, mostly from the tsunami. So God warns all states and cities located on the shores of seas and oceans with a low level close to sea level. All fields will also be flooded, which will lead to the onset of famine, and the world is not going to prepare supplies for a period of crop failure and famine, because all the rulers of states have filled their bunkers with food for many years. They cannot understand that it is not states and people that survive in the quantum transition, but the souls of ordinary people leading a decent lifestyle (they unconsciously strive to live according to the laws of the Torah, without even knowing it). Friends, do not think about the body, take care of the soul, God will save the body too. After all, our Creators want, on the basis of our civilization, to recreate a new one, worthy of rising spiritually in order to enter the community of intelligent worlds. When the second Angel trumpets, this does not mean that the action of the first Angel will be canceled - an example of a constant increase in temperature (It will get hotter on the planet every summer). Each subsequent Angel will only add catastrophes to the previous catastrophes until the Day of Judgment, when God in full power will bring down all punishments simultaneously on the sinful world (autumn 2015).
I will not give examples of the death of animals, birds and fish around the world, this is already known. However, let me remind you that during this dangerous period, ships will sink in the seas and oceans, and this is a serious warning to those who like to travel on ships, on sea cruises.
Interpretation:
The seventh seal of Revelation logically follows sixth seal. Hence, it is not surprising that, following purely formal logic, many interpreters mistakenly believed that Trumpets of the seven angels announce the events that come after the removal sixth seal(Rev. 6:12-17). However, if we look closely at the content of the text sixth seal, then we will see that sixth seal is the final event of the Apocalypse and human history in general, because it ends with a vision "The Lord who sits on the throne" that is, a picture at the Last Judgment: “And they say to the mountains and stones: fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb; For the great day of His wrath has come, and who can stand?” (Rev. 6:16-17). Therefore the vision Trumpets of the seven angels should be considered as a recapitulation (repetition) from a different angle of view of the first six seals.
There is nothing surprising. After all, in the Bible there are, for example, four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. They follow each other in the Bible, but they do not talk about different events, but reveal the earthly life of Jesus Christ from different sides, mutually complementing each other. Similarly, one can say that Trumpets of the seven angels tell the same story as the first six stamps, only from the other side and from a different angle of view.
Another mistake, in my opinion, is that they tried to understand the pictures of the 8th chapter of Revelation literally, that is, as a description of some cosmic catastrophes in the form of meteorites falling from the sky that hit land, sea and rivers(trumpets of the first three Angels) or as a description of real phenomena on sun, moon and stars(trumpet of the fourth angel). Such an approach contradicts not only common sense, that is, the laws of physics, but also the tradition of the ancient Church, which is expressed, for example, in the interpretation of Andrew of Caesarea.
Andrew of Caesarea:
“The hail indicates that these punishments will come from heaven according to a righteous judgment, fire with blood - to the ruin of cities, which at all times have taken place at the hands of those who fought. Their fires and civil strife, during which, as we see, at least a third of all creatures living on earth will be beaten ... Another assumption is also possible that as a result of sea battles the sea will be defiled with blood and the rivers will be reddened from those killed there” [Word 8, Chapter 22; Word 16, Chapter 47]
That is, in other words, the description of the trumpets of the first two Angels means wars, about which the Lord Jesus Christ also warns in the Gospel: “Hear about wars and war rumors: look, do not be horrified; for all this must be, but this is not the end yet: for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, plagues and earthquakes in places: yet it is the beginning of disease» (Mat. 24:6-8). In the interpretation of the 6th chapter of Revelation, it was also said that this "beginning of disease" are the first two world wars. At the 21st session of the International Red Cross in 1969, it was reported that over 90 million people had been killed in wars since the beginning of the 20th century. It does not go to any comparison with all the wars of the past. For example, in all the wars of Napoleon from 1800 to 1815, no more than 1,600,000 soldiers and civilians were killed in all European countries combined.
Vision Trumpets of the seven angels The 7th chapter of Revelation begs to be compared with the vision of the Seven bowls of God's wrath, which each of the seven Angels pours out on the earth in the 16th chapter of Revelation. Attention is drawn not only to the formal coincidence of the number seven pipes and bowls, but also the similarity of their descriptions. The trumpet and cup of the first angel strike earth, the trumpet and cup of the second angel strike sea, the trumpet and bowl of the third angel strike rivers and springs of water, the trumpet and cup of the fourth angel strike Sun, the trumpet and cup of the fifth angel strike people or the kingdom of the beast, the trumpet and bowl of the sixth angel are both associated with river Euphrates, the trumpet and bowl of the seventh angel mean "thunder and lightning and an earthquake, and also a great hail"(Rev. 11:15-19). The differences include that the bowls of the first four Angels strike the earth, sea, rivers and sun, while the trumpets of the first four Angels strike only third part their.
Hence it follows that the visions of trumpets and bowls first four angels announce various events. If the first vision (of the trumpet) only warns humanity mired in sins about the coming of the kingdom of Antichrist, which means that it is only "beginning of disease", then the last vision (chalice) announces the punishments of God on people who obey the power of the Antichrist, as well as "having the mark of the beast and worshiping his image"(Rev. 16:2). These punishments are represented symbolically in a vision "seven bowls of God's wrath" which each of the seven angels pours out on the earth. This time is named in the Bible "time of great tribulation":“For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been since the beginning of the creation that God created, even until now, and will not be. And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened those days” (Mark 13:19-20).
So, we have come to the conclusion that the vision of the trumpets of the first four angels Jesus Christ calls "beginning of disease" which in time coincide with the history of the twentieth century. At the same time, in the future it will become clear to us that the trumpet of each Angel corresponds to an equal seal. So, let's look at them all in order.
