- It's immodest to talk about myself like that, but I'm probably stubborn. And responsible. Although she has been insecure since childhood. And I also have a Volga character.
- That is, you are practically our countrywoman?
- She could be. I myself was born in Moscow. I can consider Zhukovsky near Moscow as my homeland, where my parents lived and met for a long time. But they always assured me that I inherited my character from my grandmother, my father's mother. And here she is from Saratov. Therefore, I love all the Volga cities at the genetic level. I consider each of them family. After all, I could have been born here, after all. And I know firsthand how purposeful and strong-minded all Volga residents are.
- As far as we can judge from the few publications in the press about you so far, you are purposefully aimed precisely at the opera.
- Instead of an answer, here are two facts from my biography that have so far looped the past. I started with the role of Suzanne in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro at the Mussa Jalil Opera and Ballet Theatre. And in the summer of this year she made her debut as Barbarina in the same opera, but already at the Bolshoi Theater. I can’t imagine that even for a moment I could change the art to which I went all my life. Opera is universal. And, if according to the Hamburg account, it has survived and will survive all one-day genres. Although I can guess what you're getting at. - Less. Moreover, on the channel "Russia" you compare favorably with your voice palette, which is richer in you than in other participants. But cooperation with Meladze and Baskov somehow does not fit into the general paradigm ...
- It all started with the fact that in 2012, while still a student, I was invited to back vocals by Alexander Serov. It was new and I made up my mind. And acquaintance with the pop establishment began. Hat acquaintance, by the way. Although with Kolya Baskov, we found several common topics for conversation. He is also an opera singer by education. I can only say that I sang a duet only with interesting men. Uninteresting ones don't interest me (smiles).
- Was there anything other than music that "plowed" you for life?
- Good literature - and continues to "plow". Especially Hemingway. And especially For Whom the Bell Tolls.
- Cities in tours do not merge into one yet?
- In no case. I'm still a neophyte traveler. And I'm interested in knowing everything. And first of all, the Volga cities are of interest for obvious reasons. (smiles). Ulyanovsk is extraordinary. You have order, tranquility, cleanliness, beauty, it's worth a lot. And the real home of talent, judging by what I managed to see. They performed on the same stage with the Volga folk ensemble. - I am guided by the rule: 99 percent of work and 1 percent of talent. If someone in life is accompanied by luck, then nothing was simply given to me. I had to work hard to improve. And not only in creativity.
I really didn't like myself growing up. From the age of 14 to 17 he considered himself an ugly duckling. I had a pronounced, protruding jaw, like Freddie Mercury. I got it straightened, but I had to wear braces for two years. Suffered from being overweight. But he signed up for sports, began to swim. And he lost a lot of weight, stretched out. And two years later, even my relatives did not recognize me. Now my height is 191 cm, although my parents are quite short.
- This is my conscious choice since childhood. In my family, no one has a direct relationship with music, but we have always loved high-quality pop music, such as Queen, Michael Jackson. I was five or six years old when my parents bought a music center and a microphone. Not for me, but for yourself. But since then I have not parted with the microphone. I grew up with the Backstreet Boys, George Michael, Sade.

– I have many favorite compositions in different genres. Crazy about Rachmaninoff's second concerto. For me, this is a work of art, a state in which I am immersed.
I write songs myself. Sometimes words, but more often music. True, while these compositions are in my personal hearing. I am too critical of myself, and especially of composer's work. I did not dare to present them on the project. Also because I perform here in the neoclassical style, and my songs are more like pop music.
– Konstantin Shataevich is a well-mannered, modest, kind person. It creates the most comfortable conditions for the performer. First, he listens to the opinion of the artist, and then speaks his own. It is very important. When it was not him who chose the song on the project, but I, I heard from him: “Sing it the way you want, the way you hear it.”
Poetry interests me the most. Recently discovered Arthur Rimbaud. His poems are inspiring. Of contemporary writers, I like Coelho. Often, reading a book is inspired by its film adaptation. After watching the films, I read “Eat, Pray, Love” and “Love Lives for Three Years”. Maybe these are not such deep books, but realistic, modern. And romantic.
- Yulia's mother. She is not just a mother, but a friend. She raised me on trust, never scolded me, never punished me. Although often parents build upbringing on fear. And the kids don't tell them much. And I still have no secrets from my mother. We just have a cosmic connection with her. We treat each other with great respect.

“We have a lot of cultures in our family. Mom is Russian. Dad is Armenian. There are also Persian roots. My real name is Ishmukhamedov. I don't introduce myself as her because she's hard to remember. - To be held as an artist. And when I have the opportunities and funds earned in this field, I want to open an international organization to help people who are hard to adapt to life. I know many children who are psychologically closed, afraid of society, their classmates peck at them, and their parents do not pay due attention. Over the years, the problem deepens and develops into isolation from society. I will be happy if this dream can come true.
But I don't have a girlfriend yet. Over the past two years, I've been all about creativity. I decided that I would start a relationship, start a family after thirty, when I myself get on my feet.

He is 23 years old, he is from the Congo. He came to Russia only three years ago, but has more or less learned Russian. And even though he doesn’t understand everything yet, he tries very hard. At least, this does not interfere with studying at the Faculty of Economics at the Ivanovo Agricultural Academy, where he has already become the main star of all creative competitions.
