How to draw summer holidays with a pencil step by step. Drawing for children on the theme: Summer

Drawing summer can be the final point of the past summer holidays and family travel season.

It allows you to restore in memory all the most significant events filled sunlight days and save them for the future by transferring them to a paper sheet.

Questions for a conversation in a lesson on the topic "Summer"

In order to make it easier for children to throw out their memories on the space of a white sheet, they need to be adjusted accordingly, to open a channel to the source of imagination and creativity. Therefore, before proceeding directly to the drawing process, we conduct a focused conversation, during which we are looking for answers to auxiliary questions:

  • Did the kids enjoy their summer holidays?
  • Where does summer feel best - indoors or outdoors? In the city or in nature?
  • Which natural phenomena indicate that outside the window is summer time?
  • How to determine by plants that it is summer outside? What plants have become the real summer symbol?
  • How did you remember this summer - serene, warm, or rainy, overcast?
  • Which days do you like best - sunny or rainy?
  • What did you do when it was raining outside? Did they enjoy it?
  • What event do you remember the most?
  • What colors would you like to depict a memorable event?
  • Which colors are happy and which are sad?
  • What colors best reflect the colors of the sultry sunny day? (We gradually bring the children to the definition of warm and cold shades).

How to conduct a lesson on the topic "Drawing Summer"?

Having smoothly directed the kids to think about the upcoming work, we give them a few basic ideas to start the creative process.

  • Discussing where to start our drawing. (With the definition of what exactly we will try to depict).
  • Many kids will want to portray nature. We tell that such a picture will be called a landscape, and on French this word means "country" or "locality".
  • We argue with what we will begin to fill the space of the white sheet. (From drawing the horizon line). We think in which case the horizon line should be lower (if we want to draw a lot of sky) or higher (if the main goal is to draw what is located on the ground). We explain that the horizon line is drawn thinly, with a simple pencil and then it is erased.
  • We reflect on whether it is necessary to depict the sun, and if so, in what ways can this be done.
  • We ask if someone will draw a forest. Usually there are a lot of such people in the group. Then we conduct a small master class on drawing trees: we gradually bring the kids to the fact that the trees become thinner as they move up their trunk, that their branches are also thicker and more powerful below than at the top. We analyze several ways of depicting a deciduous crown and silhouettes of coniferous trees.
  • Let's find out if someone will draw flowers. We are thinking about how best to do this, remember that some flowers have a middle and petals, and some do not. We recall the stylized image of flowers, we explain to the children what the concept of “stylized” means.
  • We discuss how animals can be depicted - realistically or stylized. Children are very fond of stylized drawings, they manage to convey the main character traits depicted subject.
  • For inspiration, we show the kids several reproductions of the image of summer by hand famous artists. We discuss how the master managed to convey the atmosphere of a summer day, how he distributed objects on his canvas, what colors he used, what are the special techniques in his work.
  • We turn on a pleasant light classical music and proceed to creative process. In the course of work, we approach the children, suggest if something does not work out for them.
  • At the end of the lesson, we will definitely arrange an impromptu gallery, we ask each kid to tell about his picture, give it a name. We suggest that you complete a cycle of similar works on your own in order to preserve a more complete picture of the past summer days.

Children's drawings: ideas for inspiration

Children's drawing summer is always rainbow colors, positive energy and piercing sincerity.

Such a picture will not just decorate the room, it will fill the surrounding space with its positive, draw attention to itself and create a benevolent atmosphere in the house.

Summer is flowers, butterflies, bright blue skies and green grass. This is the picture we will draw today. From this drawing you can make a postcard.

Necessary materials:

  • Sheet of white paper;
  • Colored pencils in yellow, orange, red, pink, dark green, light green and blue flowers. Pink color you can replace it with purple, then you get a real rainbow;
  • Fine black marker
  • A simple pencil (preferably soft 3B);
  • Eraser.

First, with a simple pencil, mark where the flowers will be located. The lines should be very light, barely noticeable. The shape of the flower fits into an oval. Place the ovals at the bottom of the sheet, at different angles to the edges of the paper and to each other.

In the upper part, make room for the butterfly, using light lines, determine its size and direction of flight.

If you connect the corners of the wings of any butterfly with lines, you get a trapezoid. Therefore, you need to start drawing a butterfly with this figure. Having outlined its contours, divide the trapezoid with a line approximately in the middle. From the corners to the center of the trapezoid, round the shape of the wings. Define the body and head.

Now you need to draw flowers. In the middle of each intended oval, you need to make smaller ovals.

From these small ovals draw diverging lines separating the petals.

Round the petals without disturbing the intended shape of the flower.

Light lines mark the location of several leaves. They must be located in different directions. First, draw the middle line of the sheet, then two lines from the tip with a corner. Draw the leaves by rounding the lines.

Carefully circle the resulting contours of flowers, leaves and butterflies with a marker. Try to keep the lines smooth.

Take a blue pencil. transparent lines sketch the horizon line approximately in the middle of the sheet, as well as the lines of the hills lower. Lightly shade the sky. Start tinting from upper corners sheet to the horizon line, gradually weakening the pressure.

From the horizon line it is also very easy, with loose strokes with a gradual weakening of the pressure, mark the distance with the hills.

Color the wings of the butterfly with a yellow pencil. This should be done in small strokes with uniform pressure. Do not press too hard on the pencil, it is better to go through the hatching in one place several times until you achieve the desired tone.

Color the body of the butterfly orange, and draw small details with a marker: spots and black corners on the wings, eyes and antennae.

Now it's time for the flowers. Use a yellow pencil to shade the middle.

Then start toning the petals. To make the tinting look neat, outline and color each petal separately. The strokes should be small, and the pressure on the pencil should be even.

In our drawing, a red, orange and pink flower. But you can think of other combinations.

Color the leaves in this way: one half of the leaf is dark green, and the other is light green.

Finish the drawing by working out the details with a marker. In the middle of the flowers, apply a few dots, draw veins on the leaves.

Summer- this is one of the most amazing, beautiful and long-awaited seasons. This is the sun, a hot season with long days and short warm nights. Summer is hot sand and a gentle wave on the seashore, good mood and unforgettable experiences. Summer is different for each of us. And it's different for everyone! Who visited this summer on the southern coast of Crimea, he immediately presented such a picture: the sea, mountains and pine trees of bizarre shape, growing on the slopes of the mountains to the seashore.

Let's try to draw together with the children drawing on the theme "Summer"- a memory of the summer, based on step by step instructions seascape images.

The master class is conducted by Vera Parfentyeva, technology teacher, leader of a circle for preschoolers, reader of Native Path. The article is illustrated with drawings of Vera's little pupils.

Drawing on the theme "Summer" step by step

Step 1. Horizon line.

We draw a straight line with a simple pencil at the bottom of the sheet (thus, we introduce the kids to the techniques of working on the ruler). This is the horizon line. Children will learn a new concept: the horizon line is an imaginary line where the sky appears to be in contact with land or water. In this case, with the sea.

Step 2. Sun.

We draw the sun going beyond the horizon line.

Step 3. Draw the mountain in the background.

We draw an arbitrary curved line from the horizon line - this is a mountain in the background.

Step 4. Draw the second mountain.

We draw a curved line for the mountain protruding forward.

Step 5. Draw the shore.

On foreground draw the coast.

In another option, you can make the composition of the picture “on the contrary”, in a mirror image.

Step 6. Draw a pine tree.

On the slope of the mountain we draw a pine tree, bent over the sea under the influence of the winds. Pine trees in the Crimea are bizarre in shape, low, with crooked trunks, but firmly holding their roots to rocky ground. If you were in another place, draw the trees characteristic of the area.

Step 7. We make our drawing on the theme "Summer" in color.

Well, now the most interesting thing: take watercolor or gouache paints of red-orange color and paint Sun. It is best to hold the brush vertically and paint with “pokes” with the tip of the brush.

Paint over with dark brown mountain in the distance (drawings by Sasha, 7 years old and Nastya, 6.5 years old). Drawing with “poke” makes it possible to express the relief of the mountain.

paint over nearby mountain light brown paint. There is a large area of the drawing, so it is more convenient to hold the brush with an inclination, pressing it to the sheet with a full pile.

Add green color, gradually mixing it with brown paint that has not yet dried.

We draw the summer sea.

It is better to complete this point one point earlier, because. the mountain covers the sea. The kids were a little rushed. Paint over a section of the sea with blue paint. Brush movement horizontally in one direction, from left to right. It is desirable to draw a line along the horizon without interruption. The remaining lines can be drawn with a smooth wavy brush. Do not allow the brush to move back and forth without lifting the brush from the sheet. Then, under the setting sun on the water, make a few strokes with the tip of the brush and blur them. Thus, a reflection on the water of the sun leaving the horizon is obtained.

We draw a pine. Hold the brush vertically. First, “poke” along the contour of the pine crown, and then fill the internal space, leaving gaps in some places.

Draw the shore (in the manner described above - we hold the brush with an inclination, pressing it to a sheet of paper with a full pile.

We draw lines on a trunk and branches of a pine.

When drawing lines on the trunk and branches of a pine tree, the hand should always remain to the right of them, tilting the brush vertically in the same direction, touching the paper only with the tip. The brush is carried along the pile. The hand remains overhang, not leaning on the sheet, so as not to blur the drawing.

With white paint, we slightly shade the crown and trunk of a pine tree.

Here's what happens (drawing by Nastya, six and a half years old)

We draw poppies.

Draw poppies if you like. We put dots on the grass with a toothpick. These are poppy flowers. They say that red poppies bloom where fierce battles took place during the Great Patriotic War.

Creative task for children:

  1. Close your eyes. Mentally move to South coast Crimea. Imagine the sea, coast, mountains. Listen to the noise sea wave, the cry of seagulls and the whistle of the ship. Draw your landscape.

How to draw summer: ideas, artistic techniques, step by step instructions and pictures for drawing.

Summer is the time when you can forget about textbooks for a while, and finally do what your soul dreams of: running and walking with friends, swimming in the pond, seeing relatives, soaking up the gentle sun. Children's drawings on the theme of summer are very different, but warmth and kindness emanates from all of them.

What can you draw on the theme of summer for children?

  • Summer is the time to relax on the sea, with white sand, seagulls and a warm wind that blows in the face

  • But if you didn’t go to the sea, then the picture, which depicts an inflatable pool, also looks very attractive.

Lollipops, pool, ball games - a wonderful summer vacation!
  • Even in summer it is nice to relax near the river

  • In summer, kids who live in the city can go to the countryside and get to know the animals better. The author, who drew the following work, liked the ginger cat. It seems that the cat is about to stretch its paw for a butterfly, but, of course, it will not catch it

  • Some children will drink fresh milk in the summer and will be able to stroke the calf

  • In summer, meadows and fields are constantly changing, sometimes they are yellow from the flowering of dandelions, sometimes they are white when fluff begins to fly from them, then they are multi-colored when the herbs bloom

From birches drawn in this technique, you can make a whole grove. Experiment with colors, make the crown dark and individual leaves light, use gradient coloring, in which some parts of the crown will be darker, others lighter.

How to draw a bush?

To make this drawing, we are already using the third technique, namely, painting with a sponge. So, first you need to arbitrarily draw the outline of the bush with a pencil. And then paint over it with light green paint with a brush.

When the first layer of paint is dry, you need to take a sponge, dip it in dark green paint and apply a second layer of paint with light touches.
