An excerpt characterizing Sarukhanov, Igor Armenovich

One core blew up the ground a stone's throw from Pierre. He, cleaning the earth sprinkled with a cannonball from his dress, looked around him with a smile.
- And how are you not afraid, master, really! - the red-faced broad soldier turned to Pierre, baring his strong white teeth.
– Are you afraid? Pierre asked.
– But how? answered the soldier. “Because she won’t have mercy. She slams, so the guts out. You can't help but be afraid," he said, laughing.
Several soldiers with cheerful and affectionate faces stopped near Pierre. They did not seem to expect him to speak like everyone else, and this discovery delighted them.
“Our business is soldiery. But the sir, so amazing. That's the barin!
- In places! - shouted a young officer at the soldiers gathered around Pierre. This young officer, apparently, performed his position for the first or second time, and therefore treated both the soldiers and the commander with particular distinctness and uniformity.
The erratic firing of cannons and rifles intensified throughout the field, especially to the left, where Bagration's flashes were, but because of the smoke of shots from the place where Pierre was, it was almost impossible to see anything. Moreover, observations of how, as it were, a family (separated from all others) circle of people who were on the battery, absorbed all the attention of Pierre. His first unconsciously joyful excitement, produced by the sight and sounds of the battlefield, was now replaced, especially after the sight of this lonely soldier lying in the meadow, by another feeling. Sitting now on the slope of the ditch, he watched the faces around him.
By ten o'clock, twenty people had already been carried away from the battery; two guns were broken, more and more shells hit the battery and flew, buzzing and whistling, long-range bullets. But the people who were on the battery did not seem to notice this; cheerful conversation and jokes were heard from all sides.
- Chinenko! - the soldier shouted at the approaching, whistling grenade. - Not here! To the infantry! - another added with a laugh, noticing that the grenade flew over and hit the ranks of the cover.
- What, friend? - laughed another soldier at the crouching peasant under the flying cannonball.
Several soldiers gathered at the rampart, looking at what was happening ahead.
“And they took off the chain, you see, they went back,” they said, pointing over the shaft.
“Look at your business,” the old non-commissioned officer shouted at them. - They went back, which means there is work back. - And the non-commissioned officer, taking one of the soldiers by the shoulder, pushed him with his knee. Laughter was heard.
- Roll on to the fifth gun! shouted from one side.
“Together, more amicably, in burlatski,” the cheerful cries of those who changed the gun were heard.
“Ay, I almost knocked off our master’s hat,” the red-faced joker laughed at Pierre, showing his teeth. “Oh, clumsy,” he added reproachfully to the ball that had fallen into the wheel and leg of a man.
- Well, you foxes! another laughed at the squirming militiamen who were entering the battery for the wounded.
- Al is not tasty porridge? Ah, crows, swayed! - they shouted at the militia, who hesitated in front of a soldier with a severed leg.
“Something like that, little one,” the peasants mimicked. - They don't like passion.
Pierre noticed how, after each hit, after each loss, a general revival flared up more and more.
As from an advancing thundercloud, more and more often, brighter and brighter flashed on the faces of all these people (as if in repulse to what was happening) lightning bolts of hidden, flaring fire.
Pierre did not look ahead on the battlefield and was not interested in knowing what was happening there: he was completely absorbed in contemplating this, more and more burning fire, which in the same way (he felt) flared up in his soul.
At ten o'clock the infantry soldiers, who were ahead of the battery in the bushes and along the Kamenka River, retreated. From the battery it was visible how they ran back past it, carrying the wounded on their guns. Some general with his retinue entered the mound and, after talking with the colonel, looking angrily at Pierre, went down again, ordering the infantry cover, which was standing behind the battery, to lie down so as to be less exposed to shots. Following this, in the ranks of the infantry, to the right of the battery, a drum was heard, shouts of command, and from the battery it was clear how the ranks of the infantry moved forward.
Pierre looked over the shaft. One face in particular caught his eye. It was an officer who, with a pale young face, was walking backwards, carrying a lowered sword, and looking around uneasily.
The ranks of infantry soldiers disappeared into the smoke, their long-drawn cry and frequent firing of guns were heard. A few minutes later, crowds of wounded and stretchers passed from there. Shells began to hit the battery even more often. Several people lay uncleaned. Near the cannons, the soldiers moved busier and more lively. No one paid any attention to Pierre anymore. Once or twice he was angrily shouted at for being on the road. The senior officer, with a frown on his face, moved with large, quick steps from one gun to another. The young officer, flushed even more, commanded the soldiers even more diligently. Soldiers fired, turned, loaded and did their job with intense panache. They bounced along the way, as if on springs.
A thundercloud moved in, and that fire burned brightly in all faces, the flaring up of which Pierre watched. He stood beside the senior officer. A young officer ran up, with his hand to his shako, to the older one.
- I have the honor to report, Mr. Colonel, there are only eight charges, will you order to continue firing? - he asked.
- Buckshot! - Without answering, shouted the senior officer, who was looking through the rampart.
Suddenly something happened; the officer gasped and, curled up, sat down on the ground like a bird shot in the air. Everything became strange, unclear and cloudy in Pierre's eyes.
One after another, the cannonballs whistled and beat at the parapet, at the soldiers, at the cannons. Pierre, who had not heard these sounds before, now only heard these sounds alone. On the side of the battery, on the right, with a cry of “Hurrah,” the soldiers ran not forward, but backward, as it seemed to Pierre.
The core hit the very edge of the shaft in front of which Pierre was standing, poured the earth, and a black ball flashed in his eyes, and at the same instant slapped into something. The militia, who had entered the battery, ran back.
- All buckshot! the officer shouted.
The non-commissioned officer ran up to the senior officer and in a frightened whisper (as the butler reports to the owner at dinner that there is no more required wine) said that there were no more charges.
- Robbers, what are they doing! the officer shouted, turning to Pierre. The senior officer's face was red and sweaty, and his frowning eyes shone. - Run to the reserves, bring the boxes! he shouted, angrily looking around Pierre and turning to his soldier.
“I will go,” said Pierre. The officer, without answering him, walked with long strides in the other direction.

Igor Armenovich Sarukhanov. Born on April 6, 1956 in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). Soviet and Russian musician, singer, composer, poet. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1997).

Armenian by nationality.

Mother - Rosa Ashotovna Sarukhanova (1932-1991), teacher of Russian language and literature.

The younger brother is Vagan Armenovich Sarukhanov (born 1960).

Maternal ancestors come from Goris, and paternal ancestors come from Stepanakert. My paternal great-grandfather was a wealthy man, he was engaged in grain, timber, stone processing, had several plants and factories under his control. In 1921-22, during the famine in the Volga region, he sent there compositions of grain from his factories. During the mass repressions, in order to avoid arrest and execution, he destroyed all documents and renounced his own property.

When Igor was four years old, the family from Samarkand moved to Moscow, where his father defended his dissertation.

Graduated from Dolgoprudny music school No. 1 in the class of classical guitar.

While still a teenager, he began performing at dances and discos, earning money, because of which he had problems at school. He recalled: “I have been involved in music since childhood, and from the sixth grade I already created an ensemble. We performed not only at school holidays, but also at evenings of rest in his native Dolgoprudny near Moscow. True, one day the principal wanted to... kick us out of school. For the fact that we received money for our performances. It turns out that they conducted commercial activities, which in Soviet time absolutely impossible to do! My dad came to rescue us. He went to the director and explained to him: yes, we took the money. But the money was needed to buy new instruments, strings for old guitars, because the strings quickly become unusable."

He served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Moscow Military District, where he met Stas Namin. Thanks to the latter, after demobilization in 1979, he got into the ensemble " Blue bird". Then he worked in the VIA "Flowers", with which he performed until 1981.

Their very first song - "Kara-Kum" - became calling card groups.

The young team was taken under guardianship by the poet Anatoly Monastyrev, after which the group begins an active successful touring life. However, in August 1982, the USSR Ministry of Culture issued an order to disband a number of supergroups, in the same order the musicians of the Circle were forbidden by name to work together. The group was saved from immediate reprisals only by the intercession of the deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper " Soviet culture”, the poetess Tatyana Kvardakova - the wife of Igor Yuryevich Andropov, the son of the then Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee Yuri Vladimirovich Andropov. She personally met with the Deputy Minister of Culture, popular actor Georgy Ivanov and convinced him to cancel the order. However, the entire second half of 1982 and part of 1983, the group sat without concerts.

The Krug group broke up in 1984 due to personal relationships within the team.

In 1984, at the festival in Sopot, he was awarded the first prize as the author of the song "Behind a sharp turn."

Since 1985, Sarukhanov began solo career. He declared himself at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow, where he won the first prize in the competition for the best song about Moscow - "Moscow Space".

Like many talented people, Igor from the very early childhood, desperately resisting the unwillingness of those around him to come to terms with his desire to plunge headlong into such a "frivolous" world of show business, slowly prepared for such an alluring and exciting voyage along the waves of the music he so dearly loved. Neither the close control of the parents, who hoped that the son would change his mind, nor, as a result, the admission to a technical university did not break the young man's desire. After all, he knew his purpose! And once Igor solemnly announced to his parents that he was tying with exact sciences. The confidence inherent in gifted and purposeful people affected the parents, and they gave up ...

Realizing that his son’s decision was unshakable, his father decided that it was better to take part in his son’s life after all, and with his help, Igor gets into his first Music band- Song and Dance Ensemble of the Order of Lenin of the Moscow Military District, artistic director who at that time was National artist USSR Suren Isaakovich Babloev. That's where it happened historic meeting with Stas Namin, whose musician served with Igor. This combination of circumstances once again confirmed to Igor the correctness of the chosen path! And with indescribable enthusiasm, Igor began to master the repertoire of the then super popular group "Flowers", performing it throughout the military unit. It is quite natural that Stas Namin physically could not help but notice the young man - his guitar improvisations on the theme and voice were carried throughout the garrison. And one day, having heard applause after the next passage and turning around, Igor realized that he had been heard. So they met...

As a result, having been demobilized and having completed a four-month "internship" in at least legendary ensemble"Blue Bird", in 1979 Sarukhanov was admitted to the "Flowers", where he worked for three years. It was a time of unprecedented romance, crazy popularity, sold-out stadiums and popular love!

In 1981, Igor became one of the founders of the Krug ensemble, which, despite the fact that it had existed for 4 years, gave many imperishable hits, the words of which are still remembered - "There is a sharp turn behind" (it was performed by Anna Veski), " Kara Kum", "Not a word about love", "You said, believe"...

Sooner or later in the life of every person there comes a moment when the accumulated and experienced so overwhelms a person that one wants to leave the present in the past and make a strong bold leap into the unknown... If at such a moment a person is ready for independent swimming, it turns into solo work. So, in 1985, a new name appeared on the pop horizon - Igor Sarukhanov. Experienced and accumulated smoothly resulted in more than 300 songs own composition. And only a relatively small part of his songs are co-written. But what are these names - Alexander Novikov ("Violin-Fox", "Two Rays"), Simon Osiashvili ("My Dear Old Men"), Alexander Vulykh ("Boat", "Invented Love").

Why is the work of Igor Sarukhanov so attractive? If you carefully read the artist's guest post, we can summarize that Igor equally manages to touch the thoughts and feelings of both adults and children, men and women, creative people and people far from this area. On different stages life in his songs you can find support and competent advice. Under them, you can cry and laugh. And even meet the love of your life! This is creativity without boundaries. Creativity for everyone and for everyone.

Early years, childhood and the family of Igor Sarukhanov

Igor Armenovich Sarukhanov was born on April 6, 1956 in the ancient Uzbek city of Samarkand. However, despite this, there is practically no Uzbek blood in the veins of our today's hero. By origin, both of his parents belong to the Armenian nation. Besides, in family tree families famous musician you can also find Russian and Azerbaijani lines.

As for the place of birth itself, in this regard, everything is also very conditional. The thing is that our today's hero almost never lived in Samarkand itself. Subsequently, the Sarukhanov family remained in the capital of the RSFSR for good. Father - Armen Vaganovich - got a job as a teacher at one of the technical institutes. And my mother, Roza Ashotovna, began working as a teacher of the Russian language and literature in one of the Moscow schools.

Thus, the entire conscious life of our today's hero passed in Moscow. Therefore, Igor always considered this city to be his home. In the capital of the RSFSR, the future musician entered general education school, and at the same time began to study music for the first time.

Parents somehow gave him his first guitar, and then took the guy to a music school, where our today's hero learned the basics of classical guitar music. He liked this. That is why subsequently Igor Sarukhanov became practically inseparable from his guitar.

It is noteworthy that some time later, the parents themselves began to dissuade their son from studying music. The thing is that Armen Vaganovich and Roza Ashotovna always wanted their son, having matured, to choose for himself technical specialty like his father. Therefore, for a long time, the guy’s parents did literally everything to ensure that their son chose a “more serious profession” for himself in life. However, Igor Sarukhanov was unshakable, and at one point his parents had to give up.

At first, the young musician performed as part of various semi-amateur bands, and then managed to break into the professional stage.
