The influence of music on human health and emotional state. Music heals the soul and body

Music and human health: impact on the body and health. Music for school, students, teachers. Interesting Facts for presentation.

Ancient treatises state: The universe sounds, but the usual human ear does not pick up heavenly sounds. They are reproduced by music - a reflection of cosmic harmony. Man, as a part of the Universe, by tuning into the harmonic sounds of the Cosmos through beautiful melodies, acquires spiritual strength and physical health". The benefits of music for the human body have been known since ancient times. The doctors of ancient Greece treated their patients with the sounds of wind instruments, and the philosopher Democritus spoke of the benefits of the flute.

(Mozart. Symphony No. 40, part 1)

In India, there is the Samma Veda, one of the four Vedas, which consists of singing. "In these mantras, each sound has its own meaning. Indian ragas(Indian classical music), of which there are about 3500, are performed at a strictly defined time of day and year, since the psychophysical state of a person caused by raga must correspond to the state of affairs in nature and space. Untimely performance of the raga has always been considered harmful, violating the natural order. Raga is deeply meaningful and carries a specific image. For example, raga-vasanta symbolizes spring, raga-kamala - a lotus, raga-megha - a cloud that brings rain, raga-shanti is associated with a state of peace, raga-shringara - with a feeling of love. Sound can be healed just like words.

Ancient doctors said: "Sing to be healthy." Vibration of the voice is very important for wellness It helps promote health. The method of exposure to sound vibrations, which are in harmony with the internal processes in the human body, has been practiced by healers of the East since ancient times. It is possible to treat not only with a word, but also with music, singing, and even prolonged repeated pronunciation of certain sounds. For example: “hu” is the sound of the spleen, “sy” is the sound of the lungs, “xu” is the sound of the liver, “he” is the sound of the heart, “chui” is the sound of the kidneys. Music is also a vibration, only ordered, synchronized in a certain way. It brings order to our system, sets it in a certain way, affects the mood and work of internal organs and systems.

Particular attention is paid to the impact of the music of the great classics on the human body. Here are just a few observations. Well-known Russian scientists V.M. Bekhterev, I.M. Sechenov and others noted the enormous influence of music on the nervous system, on breathing, and blood circulation. Certain melodies can raise or lower blood pressure, speed up or slow down the pulse. The creator of musical pharmacology, the American scientist Robbert Schofler, prescribes for therapeutic purposes to listen to all Tchaikovsky's symphonies and Mozart's overtures, as well as Schubert's "Forest King" and Beethoven's ode "For Joy" from his 9th symphony. Schofler claims that these works contribute to the acceleration of recovery. The scientist also came to the conclusion that the sounds of the flute and clarinet improve blood circulation, and the slow and quiet melody of stringed instruments lowers blood pressure. Mikhail Lazarev, pediatrician, director of a children's rehabilitation center, describes the impact music has on pregnant women. Classical music has a great effect on the formation of the bone structure of the fetus. To the sounds harmonic music while still in the mother's womb, the child will develop harmoniously spiritually and physically. It is especially recommended for expectant mothers to listen to Mozart's works.

The therapeutic effect of Mozart's music on the human body is due to the fact that there are a lot of high-frequency sounds in it. Sounds with a frequency of 3,000 to 8,000 Hz and above cause the greatest resonance in the cerebral cortex (this directly stimulates thinking and improves memory). Therefore, the abundance of high frequencies in the musical works of Mozart carries a powerful energy charge not only for the brain, but for the whole organism as a whole. For migraine, Japanese doctors usually offer Mendelssohn's Spring Song, Dvorak's Humoresque, Gershwin's An American in Paris. Headache is relieved by listening to Oginsky's polonaise, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 1. Relaxation music, which has a relaxing effect on the human nervous system, includes the following works: "Ave Maria" by F. Schubert, "Aria from Suite No. 3" by I. Bach, "Cavatina Norma" by V. Bellini. An example of activating music that improves mood can be such musical works as the waltzes of P.I.

The main thing: listen more often to your body and learn to live in harmony with it. And let the music help you with this!

Living Ethics. World of Fire. ch2. §17. Rhythm is the parent of cooperation. From ancient times, people already understood the significance of rhythmic choirs, musical movements; in this way consciousness was accumulated about the engine of common work. They already knew that the rhythm ignited common fires, helped to avoid irritation and separation. He affirmed the same aspiration, therefore music before a common work is a sign of unity. It's a pity that new music is so often arrhythmic. Maybe it is the beginning of many spiritual ulcers, but the question of harmony is unusually complex. Arrhythmia is disunity, but coarse rhythm is dullness. Thus, only the fiery consciousness will prompt the refinement of the rhythm. One can meditate on many things, but let us always return to the fiery understanding. The abode of Agni opens not by reason, but by the harmony of rhythm. Precisely, as a vessel is opened not by force, but by rhythm. Only the right rhythm carries us forward and protects us from delay, meanwhile we know all the damage of delay both in movement and in spirit. It is impossible to have a broken rhythm, now retreating, now advancing - this is how an incredible and useless expenditure of energy occurs. Whoever began to advance with a fiery rhythm will not retreat. It is this rhythm that saves one from sorrowful reflections and leads one forward in the spirit; therefore, let us not limit the meaning of rhythm only to external movement, but let us introduce it into spiritual life.

Living Ethics. World of Fire. ch2. §eighteen. People feel that sometimes something sings in them. Such a song is never disharmonic. One can greatly appreciate when such vibrations aspire our being. They contain the embryo of achievement.

And some more information on the topic of vibrations.

There is a so-called “Schumann Frequency” or Schumann resonance, it is a wave emanating from the planet (“heartbeat” is the rhythm of the Earth), this is the electromagnetic frequency of the Earth. Schumann resonance is the phenomenon of formation of standing electromagnetic waves of low and ultra-low frequencies between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere.

The Earth and its ionosphere is a giant spherical resonator, the cavity of which is filled with a weakly electrically conductive medium. If arising in this environment electromagnetic wave after rounding the globe again coincides with its own amplitude (enters into resonance), then it can exist for a long time.

One of the main frequencies is 7.8 Hz and, interestingly, it exactly matches the frequency of the alpha rhythm. human brain(man and nature are one). The alpha rhythm (from 8 to 13 Hz) is, in short, the frequency of the brain of a person lying with his eyes closed in a relaxed state (not sleeping, dozing). The Schumann frequency was so stable for a long time that the military tuned their instruments to it. However, Schumann's frequency began to increase.

NASA has developed a device that emits vibrations at a frequency of 7.8 Hz, harmonizing and calming the brain. The device is used primarily in the field of astronautics, for astronauts who are far from the Earth for a long time. Due to the fact that the astronaut's brain does not feel the resonant frequency of the Earth, he begins to have headaches, distracted attention, dizziness, etc. (space sickness).

There are five main groups of brain waves:

beta waves(beta rhythm, 13-30 Hz): Arise in an active, cheerful state, when you have to think a lot and actively, and attention is directed outward (it corresponds to the level of everyday consciousness, in which sensory perception of the outside world predominates). High activity of beta waves always corresponds to a large release of stress hormones.

alpha waves(alpha rhythm, 8-12 Hz): They are fixed in a state bordering between sleep and awakening, arising in the state of wakefulness during rest, relaxation or shallow meditation with closed eyes (in its highest stage, it corresponds to the level of superconsciousness, corresponding to the level of enlightenment and freedom). Even reading a textbook under theta waves contributes to greater assimilation of the material.

Theta waves(theta rhythm, 4-7 Hz): Occur during light sleep, deep relaxation and meditation (it corresponds to the level of penetration into the subconscious, at which liberation from repressed emotions and mental blocks occurs). Increase the ability of memory, focusing attention, stimulate fantasy, promote vivid dreams. Some people find that half an hour of theta waves a day replaces 4 hours of normal sleep.

delta waves(delta rhythm, 0.5-3 Hz): Appear during deep dreamless sleep, trance, hypnosis. Gamma waves (30 Hz and above): go side by side with the concepts of "hyperconsciousness", "hyperreality".

These four main rhythms, corresponding to the four main states of human consciousness, were described in ancient Indian philosophical texts, in particular, in the Upanishads, where they were called:

* daytime wakefulness or in today's language beta state,
* sleep with dreams (alpha state),
* dreamless sleep (delta state) and
* deep meditation, leading to a state of liberation (theta state).

In the following video, you can clearly see that the higher the vibration frequency, the harder pattern. The lower the vibration frequency, the more shapeless the pattern...

Figures of Chladni. Effect of sound on sand:

Emotions also correspond to certain vibrations:

mountain gives a lot of vibration - from 0.1 to 2 hertz

fear from 0.2 to 2.2 hertz;

resentment - from 0.6 to 3.3 hertz;

irritation - from 0.9 to 3.8 hertz;

perturbation - from 0.6 to 1.9 hertz;

irascibility - 0.9 hertz;

flash of rage - 0.5 hertz;

anger - 1.4 hertz;

pride - 0.8 hertz;

pride (megalomania) - 3.1 hertz;

neglect - 1.5 hertz;

superiority - 1.9 hertz,

generosity - 95 hertz;

vibrations of gratitude (thank you) - 45 hertz;

heartfelt gratitude - from 140 hertz and above;

unity and communication with other people - 144 hertz and above;

compassion - from 150 hertz and above (and pity is only 3 hertz);

love, which is called the head, that is, when a person understands that love is good,

a bright feeling and great strength, but it’s still impossible to love with the heart - 50 hertz;

love that a person generates with his heart for all people without exception and all living things - from 150 hertz and above;

love is unconditional, sacrificial - from 205 hertz and above.

From this we can conclude that in order to control people, to slow down the spiritual development of people, they must be kept at low vibrational frequencies. This is facilitated by the entire “culture” that has been created today, the media, the entire information field of our society, food, medicines, etc.

Schumann's frequency began to grow in 1986 and has already reached 14-15 Hz, which corresponds to the beta-rhythm of the brain, conscious activity. Because of this, most people experience dizziness, the brain is forced to work at ever-increasing frequencies. With a further increase in frequency, the brain will reach 30 Hz or more, to a little-studied gamma rhythm, which is responsible for inspiration and creativity. The brain vibration frequency of 50 Hz is what Zen Buddhists call enlightenment.

It is impossible for an unprepared human brain to reach, much less maintain, this high frequency. If alpha and beta rhythms are tuned to the familiar world, then the gamma rhythm is the perception of already subtle worlds.

By increasing its frequency, the Earth thereby forces our brain to wake up from its state of hibernation and work more consciously. While in a state of lucid dreaming, our brain operates on vibrations of higher frequencies.

In the normal state of wakefulness, when the beta rhythm predominates, the work of various parts of the brain is coordinated rather weakly. When a person needs to engage in purely intellectual calculations, the left hemisphere is actively working for him, and the right hemisphere is very little involved in the work. But when you need to solve some new problem and there are not enough purely logical tools to solve it, then intuition and the right hemisphere turn on, and the left one recedes into the background.

The occipital and frontal parts of the brain, its superficial and deep sections also do not work synchronously. This is expressed in a sharp predominance of one rhythm of brain activity in those parts of the brain that are currently leading, and the simultaneous suppression of other rhythms. Such predominance occurs in almost all types of human activity, during which he is identified with objects that make him focus attention on himself. Whether a person is engaged in active work of a purely external nature, or delving into himself, sorting out options for deliberate decisions, one rhythm predominates in the currently dominant part of the brain.

The only kind of activity that stops this mental chatter and helps to overcome the mismatched work of the hemispheres, various parts and sections of the brain, is meditation. Scientists (Layvin, Banquet, Kitt Walls) discovered the phenomenon of coherence (consistency), inherent in a meditative state and meaning agreement various rhythms brain. All rhythms begin to adapt to each other, as it were. First of all, alpha and theta waves begin to work in harmony.

Most researchers who observed the electrical activity of the brain in yogis in deep meditation and even in a state of samadhi testify that they experienced an increase in the amplitude of the alpha rhythm with a slight decrease in its frequency.

The study of brain activity during the meditation of Zen masters also confirms this pattern of the predominance of the alpha rhythm, which sometimes interspersed with the delta amplitude.

It is important to emphasize that after any form and type of meditation, the alpha rhythm was preserved even during open eyes. The alpha rhythm was also correlated with such mental phenomena as creativity and flashes of intuition.

Lowering frequencies in the range of delta and beta waves in pure form leads to confusion. This is expressed either in a state of illness (narcolepsy, brain tumors, trauma, inflammation), which is characteristic of the delta rhythm, or in a state of fuss and stress, during which the brain is under the influence of the beta rhythm.

In order to survive in the new conditions of increasing Schumann frequency and remain adequate, a person needs to teach his brain to work at these higher frequencies.

To date, most children are born with a high frequency of the pineal gland, these are the children of a new civilization. They act consciously subtle worlds, which ordinary person just not available. Although, from the point of view of medicine, such a high frequency of the brain is a sign of schizophrenia.

Since the 80s, the birth of indigo children on Earth has increased, and today among those born are almost 100% indigo. Wherein various sources indicate that most are born with minor brain dysfunction. They have practically no alpha rhythm, this is a low-frequency brain rhythm that functions from birth at higher frequencies.

So, what are the ways to increase vibrations? How to maintain and improve spiritual and physical health, come to Happiness and Harmony?

Remember how we are talking about an unfortunate person - he is depressed, walks as if lowered into the water, which is hard on his soul. And, on the contrary, if a person is happy, healthy, then we say that he is on the rise, he flies like on wings, which is easy on his heart. That is, folk wisdom has preserved hints of ancient knowledge about high and low vibrations of energies.

Everything painful, evil, dirty has low vibrations, and everything healthy, happy, joyful has high vibrations. Pathogenic bacteria and microbes can live only at low vibrations, while high ones are unbearable for them, they burn them. Therefore, as many have probably heard, the wounds of the winners heal so quickly and, on the contrary, the wounded of the losing side are seriously ill for a long time. And any disease is characterized by the energy of low vibrations (clairvoyants see a kind of energy dirt in a diseased human organ, and the aura of a depressed or unhealthy person looks dirty gray. And a person overflowing with happiness and health seems to glow (especially the eyes), often this is noticeable even to ordinary people. This means that a person is overwhelmed with light energy of high vibrations.)

The world around us is one, the differences are only apparent, external. Energy is at the heart of everything that exists, and between individual organisms what modern scientists call energy-information exchange takes place. That is, "bad" energy is also "bad", low-vibration information. And when we read our newspapers filled with descriptions of crimes, violence, or watch TV, from where cruel news, cruel and vile films splash out on us (pornography is also vile, “dirty” energy), then we tune in to these low frequencies vibrations of dirty information and absorb it into ourselves.

The same thing happens when we speak evil ourselves or listen to the unkind speeches of other people, when we have evil, vindictive thoughts and feelings. Even obscene expressions carry the "dirty" energy of low vibrations, which stains us and reduces our energy level. And the energy-information exchange takes place in the same way as with a radio receiver: at what frequency of waves we tune in, we receive that program. And therefore, if we lowered our vibrations with evil thoughts, feelings, words or deeds, then we immediately tune our body to receive “dirty” energy, which serves as an ideal breeding ground for pathogens.

There is one more amazing fact, which is reported by the Teachers of humanity in Agni Yoga: when irritated or angry, a person produces especially negative vibrations that affect the surrounding space so strongly that a special poisonous gas of imperil is formed. Unfortunately, this gas consists of matter of more subtle vibrations, and therefore scientists have not yet been able to fix it with the help of modern instruments. However, as is known from the same sources, the corresponding devices should appear in the near future. But already now, many of you can remember that when a very irritated or angry person appears in the room, then, even without seeing or hearing him, more and more sensitive people already feel the emergence of some oppressive pressure.

The teachers of mankind warn that this gas is contagious and that it is deposited in the central nervous system, especially in the spine, where it contributes to the manifestations of sciatica, etc. It is advised to leave such a poisoned room or at least open a window. And what is still very bad - this poison of irritation and anger is very difficult to remove from the body, making it difficult for our recovery and development. Therefore, avoid irritably angry people and try not to poison yourself and others.

So how can one achieve high vibrations, create conditions within oneself in which pathogenic bacteria and microbes cannot exist? To understand this, one must observe happy healthy people. What makes them different? As a rule, these are kind joyful people, they are not interested in base conversations, gossip, they are not inclined to condemn other people, they are not envious, they do not torment themselves with experiences of life's failures and difficulties, but they are hardworking and calmly looking for a way out. They subconsciously learned to tune in to higher vibrations and avoid lower ones. And due to the corresponding cosmic laws, which require a separate discussion, they structure the space around them in a special way and, as they say, luck smiles more often and fate develops better. They get sick less often, are more efficient, and they even need less sleep. Therefore, you will be able to improve your health and even your destiny by the mere fact that you will take a closer look at such people and try to adopt their positive attitude towards life and towards people.

Now consider other, more targeted ways to raise your vibrations. Let's start with the famous formula beauty will save the world. Beauty is what most fully corresponds to its high purpose, which is harmonious.

People usually limit themselves only to external concepts of beauty, but even a base person can be beautiful, and therefore people do not believe in the saving role of beauty. But the external side is only a tiny part of our personality, our world. There is a much more important and voluminous part - the inner world of a person. Its share in our personality is immeasurably greater, and therefore the beauty of our inner world affects our lives also immeasurably more than our external data.

Beauty, or rather harmony, has such high vibrations that it transforms both a person and the world around him. And when the proportion of harmonious people in society reaches a certain critical mass (not as large as some people think), then a qualitative leap will take place in the life of society, and humanity will rise to a new stage of evolution.

Turn your gaze up more often, to the blue sky, to the bright stars. From there, from space, a stream of cosmic energy is directed towards the earth, energy of a higher order, filling you, if you tune in correctly, with the very energy of high vibrations that is so necessary for physical and mental health. To tune in to this energy, admiration for the beauty of the sky and stars, as well as reflection on spiritual topics, helps.
The same energy of high vibrations is poured into the nature around us. Admire the beauty of nature more often: the lush greenery of trees and grasses, the blue of rivers and lakes, beautiful flowers. It is in nature that a lot of harmony is still preserved. And if you contemplate it with admiration and love, then there is a kind of unity, a connection to the pure energy of nature. But remember that such a unity with nature and connection to its energy reserves will occur only if you treat it with love.

Another possibility of energy recharging from the nature around us is in direct contact with trees. To do this, you need to choose the tree that is most attractive to you (better birch or oak, but in no case maple, aspen or willow, which take energy [although in some cases these trees can also help when a person is full of negative energy, as well as when some types of headaches]). Try mentally how to make friends with this tree. It is best if these are the same trees, for example, on your route to work or near your home.

Yogis recommend mentally talking with trees. Place your palms on the tree and mentally tune in to it. Remember that this must be done with love. If you exercise, you will soon begin to notice the vital rhythm of the tree - you will, as it were, sway slightly. Then you will feel the energy pouring into you - clean, refreshing and healing. And if you do this exercise regularly, then it will be enough for you to communicate in this way with your tree friend a couple of times a day for several minutes to have enough energy for the whole day. Just try not to spill this natural energy with irritation or other negative emotions.

Breathe in the original life energy. Take Special attention silence around the trees. When you connect to this silence and feel it, a wonderful state of inner harmony and calm joy arises, and a kind of fence off from the outside world also occurs. At the same time, it is important to stop the continuous “chewing gum” of thought for a while, to produce a kind of “expansion of consciousness” to the surrounding trees, to merge with them in their life rhythm, in their sensations.

Working with a tree (palm on a tree trunk, mindset as described above) - breathing with the entire surface of the skin (feel how the hairs on the skin press against the body when inhaling, and move away when exhaling). Inhale slowly (with the entire surface of your "shell"), the feeling is as if you are drinking thick syrup. Breathing is very slow, with a visualized entry of light energy over the entire surface of the body facing the sky (breathing without pauses between inhalation and exhalation, as is usually done in pranayama).

It is also good to meditate next to a tree in silence (when there are no people nearby), it turns out a harmonious penetrating meditation. Working with trees takes 5-10 minutes on the way to work. If interested, more information about dendrotherapy (treatment with trees) in the article “NATURE HEALS. DENDROTHERAPY (TREE TREATMENT) AND FOREST THERAPY. BENEFITS OF WALKING BAREFOOT» :

Look for silence in nature, listen to it, enjoy it. It is silence that allows you to dive deeper into the contemplated object, as well as reveal and improve the beauty of your inner world. Try every day to find at least a little time for solitude and immersion in the beautiful, the sublime. Better yet, move to live in nature to enjoy its beauty and silence every day.

If there is no opportunity to visit nature, use it to raise vibrations. One of the contemplation of beautiful flowers, and always with admiration and love. And if you try to tune in to the harmonious beauty of a flower, admire each of its petals, find more and more beauty in it, then soon you will definitely feel how your mood improves, fatigue disappears, peace comes to your soul. And you will no longer need to resort to artificial invigorators, such as strong coffee or, which is incomparably worse, a cigarette (the smoke of which destroys prana in the room, so yogis believe that a smoker is worse than a drunkard, since he mainly harms himself, and the smoker destroys the common property - Prana).

Another way of raising vibrations out of nature is a purposeful, concentrated contemplation of beautiful works - works of art, architectural masterpieces, etc., listening to beautiful musical works, singing (especially classical music, which is closest to harmony). Look for beauty in everything. Perceive it with all the senses available to you, including the sense of smell (it is not for nothing that aromatherapy has become widespread in the West).

The next way to raise your vibrations is to filter the information you let in. Stop watching TV and listening to the radio. Let less negativity in and worry less about negative news and situations. On the contrary, fill yourself with positive information (books, films, videos) that brings Kindness, Happiness and Harmony.

Another way to raise your vibration is to listen to classical and spiritual music, relaxation music, nature sounds, etc. Modern rhythmic music (rock, rap, pop, etc.) lowers vibrations. The music that raises the vibration is the music of Mozart. Read more about this in the article. "MOZART EFFECT - the harmonizing effect of Mozart's music on the activity of the brain, body and human energy":

Another way to raise the vibrations is to switch to a natural, plant-based diet, avoiding animal products, especially meat of all kinds and eggs, and products that do not exist in nature, products invented by people and produced in an industrial way, full of artificial additives and flavors. It is best to start eating food grown on their own land. For more information about the relationship between vibration frequency, health and spiritual development, see this video:

Remember that beauty and Life according to the Laws of Nature, in the rhythm of nature are high vibrations, vibrations of Spiritual Development. Look for it in everything and yourself strive to be beautiful in everything, especially in thoughts that have a decisive impact on the entire existence of a Human. This is the Path to Harmony!

And, accordingly, avoid everything that is ugly, base, morally unclean, more often listen to the voice of your heart, your conscience, because it is in you that an innate higher feeling speaks, which never makes mistakes, you just need to learn to hear it and follow it. And you will definitely be Happy, become Harmonious and Holistic!

Wherever we are, whether we like it or not, we are constantly accompanied by musical rhythms: in childhood - lullabies, our favorite radio wave in a traffic jam, karaoke at the neighbors. At the same time, we do not think about the huge influence of these rhythms on our inner world, on our well-being and behavior.

Meanwhile, the effect of music on the human body can be soothing and relaxing, raising vitality and annoying.

Our body responds vividly to the vibrational frequency of music, because it is also a kind of musical instrument: every cell, every organ, every system has its own vibrations. If they are voiced, real melodies are obtained.

For example, DNA "sounds" similar to Indian meditations, and cancer cells with Chopin's Funeral March.

Musical vibrations, reaching deep-lying tissues, massage the internal organs and stimulate blood circulation in them, affect the bone structure and the body as a whole.

Psychologists say that the coincidence of natural biorhythms and musical rhythms enhances the impact of sounds on the body. If there is a mismatch, the biological rhythms of a person adjust to the sounds of music, which changes his psycho-emotional mood.

We all have individual vibrational rhythms, so we have different musical tastes. With age, all processes in the body slow down, including vibrational, measured and calm melodies are preferred to fast and rhythmic ones.

A bit of history.

Even in ancient times, it was known that with the help of music one can enhance joy, calm sadness, alleviate pain and even cure illness.

In the 1st century BC, in Parthia, music was used to treat emotional distress and longing. For this, a music and medical center was specially built.

Asclepius, the famous healer, sought to cure sciatica patients by playing the trumpet. Democritus healed many diseases by playing the flute.

In ancient Egypt, choral singing was considered the best remedy for various pains and insomnia.

The doctors of ancient China believed that music could cure any disease, and they wrote out "musical prescriptions" to influence certain organs.

Pythagoras, the great philosopher and mathematician, created a theory about the musical-numerical structure of the cosmos and suggested using music for healing purposes. The great scientist used musical medicine to treat the passivity of the soul, so that it does not lose hope, against anger and rage, against delusions, and also for the development of intelligence, conducting classes of his students under musical accompaniment.

Plato, a scientist and follower of Pythagoras, believed that music restores human body harmony of all processes, and also establishes harmony and proportional order in the Universe.

Avicenna referred music to "non-drug" methods of treatment and, along with laughter, smells, diet, was successfully used in the treatment of mental patients.

In Rus', the healing property of bell ringing has long been noticed, they were treated for headaches, joints, the evil eye and damage were removed. Scientists of our time have established that the bell ringing contains resonant ultrasonic radiation, kills typhoid bacilli, influenza viruses, causative agents of jaundice in a matter of seconds. That is why all ringers are distinguished by enviable health and never get colds.

In the 19th century, I. Dogel found that music changes the heart rate, the depth and rhythm of breathing, and raises or lowers blood pressure. Moreover, these changes occur both in humans and in animals.

The well-known Russian surgeon Academician B. Petrovsky used music during the most complex operations, which ensured a more harmonious functioning of the body.

Academician V.M. Bekhterev, a well-known psychoneurologist, scientifically proved the beneficial effect of music on breathing, gas exchange, the central nervous system, blood circulation, and almost all life processes.

In the United States, music began to be actively used to treat mental disorders in veterans of the Second World War.

The popularity of music therapy increased significantly in the second half of the 20th century. In Western universities, a specialization appears: a professional music therapist. There are currently 3,500 registered practicing music therapists in the United States, and the need for such professionals is steadily growing.

The Russian Ministry of Health officially recognized music therapy in 2003.

Proven by science and practice.

The Academy of Rome not so long ago published the results of many years of research on the effects of music on the human body: hypertension, heart pain, the effects of stress, depression, fear, insomnia can be cured with music in 90 cases out of 100.

Mikhail Lazarev, a Moscow pediatrician and director of a children's rehabilitation center, successfully treats bronchopulmonary diseases by playing the flute.

Gerard Depardieu got rid of stuttering, on the advice of a doctor, he listened to Mozart's music every day.

In many European clinics, music is used during the most stressful preoperative period for the patient. Special melodies reduce the level of stress hormones in the blood, mobilize the body, and during the operation they replace drug anesthesia.

There are countless examples of this today.

Healing properties of music.

The German poet Novalis, back in the 18th century, called any disease musical problem that requires musical treatment.

The greatest therapeutic effect, according to scientists and physicians, is classical music, which normalizes the heart rhythm and increases the level of immunoglobulin in the blood.

This is explained by the fact that the rhythms of classical music and the rhythms of the human heart coincide (60-70 beats per minute), which explains their beneficial effect on all the basic functions of the body.

Classical melodies increase lactation, both in lactating women and in mammals.

Dolphins listen to the classics with pleasure, plants grow and bloom faster.

For chronic fatigue will provide a charge of vivacity and energy "Violin Concerto" and "Hungarian Dances" by Brahms.

Insomnia.

German scientists have found that lullabies are much more effective than sleeping pills. Lullabies listened to at night provide deep, healthy sleep for both children and adults.

The production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, is promoted by: “Piano Concerto” (2nd part) by Beethoven, “Let Us Thank the Lord” (116 psalm) by Mozart, Debussy “ Moonlight”, “Second Symphony” (3rd part) by Rachmaninov, Vivaldi “Concerto for oboe”, Gregorian psalms. The greatest effect is achieved when listening to music before going to bed.

Alcoholism is treated more successfully to the sounds of Ravel's ballet Daphnis and Chloe.

Schizophrenics behave more stably to the music of Handel.

Improvement of blood circulation evoke the sounds of the clarinet and the pickalo flute.

Normalize pressure and heart activity, quiet, calm melodies of stringed instruments and “ Wedding March» F. Mendelssohn.

For expectant mothers it is useful to listen to the classics, which contributes to the correct formation of the bone structure of the fetus. In addition, harmonic sounds lay the foundation for the spiritual and physical development of the unborn baby. Pregnant women, listening to classical music, can be cured of heart, vascular, and nervous disorders. Mozart's creativity has a particularly beneficial effect on a pregnant woman and on the fetus.

According to American researcher, Dr. Francis Rauscher, Mozart's music is a phenomenon of the positive impact of sounds on living organisms: it develops intelligence, increases the mental abilities of all listeners, regardless of whether you like the melody or not, has an analgesic effect, improves peripheral vision.

Reduce anxiety, relieve stress the major slow melodies of ethnic compositions, Tchaikovsky's symphonies, Liszt's rhapsodies, Chopin's Waltzes and Mazurka, Rubinstein's Melodies will help.

Calm and relieve nervous tension. Relax the sounds of the flute, playing the violin or piano, the sounds of nature, are useful classical works: Debussy "Light of the Moon", "Nocturne in G Minor" by Chopin, "Symphony No. 6" by Beethoven, "Ave Maria" by Schubert, "Lullaby" by Brahms.

Improving general well-being, raising vitality. Marching melodies are needed that have a mobilizing effect, accelerating the heart rate. From the classics: the 3rd movement of Tchaikovsky's "Sixth Symphony", Chopin's "Edmond Overture", Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody 2".

Relief from migraine and many pains will bring religious melodies, Oginsky's polonaise, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Khachaturian's Masquerade Suite, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody 1, Beethoven's Fidelio, Dvorak's Humoresque.

General recovery. Robbert Schofler, an American scientist and creator of musical pharmacology, recommends listening to Mozart's overtures, Tchaikovsky's symphonies, Schubert's The Forest Tsar. In his opinion, these works mobilize the body for a quick recovery and have a general strengthening effect.

Music not only heals.

However, the use of music for medicinal purposes has some contraindications and limitations, which you should definitely be aware of.

You should not get too carried away with the works of Strauss and Wagner, their works, according to music therapists, can awaken base instincts, Chopin's nocturnes can aggravate depression.

Modern rock music can lead to states of stress and depression. Too fast, loud, dissonant music causes an increased adrenaline rush, which is not always useful for everyone.

An interesting experiment was conducted by Japanese scientists:

breastfeeding mothers who listened to classical tunes were more calm, their lactation increased by a quarter. Moms who listened to rock songs were nervous, their milk supply was halved.

Along with this, the music of Enigma and Pink Floyd is known for its high health impact.

Music is only useful when it gives pleasure, when it is listened to, passing through one's thoughts and consciousness.

Watch your reactions, if the music causes an internal protest (genre, performance, unpleasant associations), then you should not use it as music therapy, even if it is recommended by a doctor.

When using music for medicinal purposes, do not overdo it! The session of music therapy should end as soon as you feel that the melody begins to annoy and tire you. Even a few minutes can have a positive impact.

Music should sound only for you, tune in to the appropriate mood, stop the course of your thoughts, especially disturbing ones, imagine the effect that you want to get.

Music is an objective thing. We cannot change the melody itself, but we have a choice - to listen to something that pleases us, which means that it has a beneficial effect on our body.

Control, if possible, the music around you and be healthy!

Vivaldi for thoughts, Mozart for health

Scientists once again delight us with news about the benefits of classical music. Despite the fact that the famous song from the movie "An almost funny story" to the music of Antonio Vivaldi suggests "to grieve about this and that", psychological studies have shown that the fast parts of the well-known musical cycle "The Seasons" stimulate the speed of thinking, memory and Attention.

Experts from Northumbria University (UK) asked 14 young people to complete a test of mental concentration and reaction speed. Volunteers had to press a key when a green square appeared on the monitor. If it was the wrong color, or if it was not a square, but, say, an oval, then it should have been ignored. At the same time, the electrical activity of the brain was recorded using EEG.

As you might guess, before doing the test, the subjects were given to listen to a recording of an Antonio Vivaldi concerto. It turned out that listening to the fast parts from the concert "Spring" speeds up the reaction of the brain - from 408.1 ms to 393.8. The control group performed the same test in absolute silence. If a person listened to slower and more restrained music from the autumn part of the concert cycle, the brain reaction slowed down to 413.3 ms. The tonality did not affect the effect: both "Spring" and "Autumn" were written in major.

According to numerous studies, the creators of classical music are recognized as geniuses for a reason. Their music not only delivers aesthetic pleasure, but also heals, consoles, soothes. The works of the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart have a significant healing and developmental effect on the brain of people. Moreover, the musical works of this composer affect the brain at a neurobiological level.

In 1993, neurologist Frank Roche from the University of Wisconsin (USA) was the first in the world to discover a very unusual effect of Mozart's music on human physiology: the works of this composer had a beneficial effect on the health of his patients.

In 1995, psychologist Francis Rauscher (USA) conducted more detailed experiments with rats. A group of 30 rats was placed in a room where for 2 months, 12 hours a day, one and the same work sounded - Mozart's sonata in C major. At the same time, the rats were trained to complete the maze. It turned out that after listening to the music of the famous Austrian, the rodents ran the maze on average 27% faster and made 37% fewer mistakes than their counterparts, who lived these 2 months among natural noise or in silence. This experiment led scientists to the idea that the universal "mechanism" of the impact of classical music on living organisms is not only emotional, but also neurobiological in nature.

American scientist Gordon Shaw and his colleague from the Los Angeles branch of the University of California, neurologist Mark Bodner, used an MRI scan of the brain to get a picture of the activity of those parts of the patient's brain that respond to listening to the music of Mozart, Beethoven's "Fur Elise" and pop music. music of the 1930s. As expected, all kinds of music activated the part of the cerebral cortex that perceives the vibrations of the air caused by sound waves - in other words, the auditory center, and sometimes excited the regions of the brain associated with emotions. But only the music of Amadeus Mozart activated almost all areas of the cortex - including those involved in motor coordination, spatial thinking and visual information processing.

American neuroscientist John Hughes of Illinois tested the effect of Mozart's works on 36 patients with severe epilepsy who suffered from almost constant seizures. In the process of monitoring patients, the scientist turned on the music of Mozart and compared the encephalogram of the brain before and during exposure to music. In 29 patients from this group, the brainwaves that occurred during an epileptic attack became weaker and less frequent soon after the music was turned on. When, instead of Mozart's works, these same patients listened to the music of some other classical composers or to complete silence, they did not show any improvement. It turns out that the works of the Austrian classic really heal and develop the brain!

In 2009, there was evidence that Mozart's music can slow down the metabolic processes in premature babies, thereby helping to add the necessary weight. This discovery was made by Israeli scientists from a medical center in Tel Aviv. The researchers measured the metabolism of newborn babies at rest when they listened to Mozart for 30 minutes on two days in a row, and then measured metabolic rates when the babies were already in silence. The researchers found that, on average, metabolism slowed down within 10-30 minutes of listening to Mozart.

But the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, according to psychologists, helps to cope with mental anguish: depression, fear, longing, despair, increased excitability, aggression and similar problems. Experiments have shown that the music of the great Beethoven, who certainly knew despair, fear, and longing (and what else can a man who has lost his beloved, and a musician who has lost his hearing?) help to understand own feelings.

Music heals the soul and body...

The healing properties of music have been known for a long time. Even in ancient Egypt and Greece, doctors treated patients with sounds and had extensive knowledge in this area. Ancient Chinese doctors believed that music could cure any disease, and even wrote out "musical recipes" to influence a particular organ.

So, which tool is responsible for what? It's believed that:

The violin heals the soul, helps to enter the path of self-knowledge, arouses compassion in the soul, readiness for self-sacrifice;

The organ puts the mind in order, harmonizes the energy flow of the spine, it is called the conductor of energy "space - earth - space";

Piano cleanses the thyroid gland;

The drum restores the rhythm of the heart, puts the circulatory system in order;

The flute purifies and expands the lungs;

The harp harmonizes the work of the heart;

The cello has a beneficial effect on the kidneys;

Cymbals "balance" the liver;

Bayan and accordion activate the work of the abdominal cavity;

The saxophone, the sexiest instrument, activates sexual energy.

It is believed that listening to the works of Borodin, Chopin, Beethoven helps to understand one's own feelings, to know oneself better. Tchaikovsky's symphonies free the soul from suffering and unpleasant memories.

Brahms, slow works by Bach and Liszt's preludes help to overcome shyness and excessive bashfulness, Shostakovich's music helps to control negative emotions (anger, irritability). The creations of Mozart and Bizet, the dance works of Strauss, Kalman and Lehár form an optimistic worldview in a person, and listening to Chopin's piano concertos and orchestra makes the attitude to the world around more positive and joyful.

According to another theory, the main healing factor in music is rhythm. Rhythm is considered the heart of music, and according to some music therapists, it is the basis of its healing properties. In nature, everything is subject to certain rhythms, and the human body is no exception. Each organ in the "man" system vibrates in its own way, and its vibrations coincide with the rhythm of the energy of quite specific sounds and instruments.

It has been proven that when the functions of an organ are disturbed, it begins to work in a different rhythm, the frequency and strength of its vibrations change.

A sick heart is a prime example. And this is where music comes to the rescue. If you know with which instrument the organ that has lost its rhythm sounds in unison, and regularly listen to the music played on it, the rhythms of the “healing” instrument will help the human body regain its former “sound”.

Not only instruments, but also musical works have a therapeutic effect. So, with insomnia, it is recommended to select music whose rhythm is slightly slower than the heart rate (works in the baroque style or blues are suitable). With hypertension, listening to Bach's fugues is very effective, and Mendelssohn's wedding march is good not only for newlyweds, but also for people with a sick heart. Beethoven's Fifth Symphony is also suitable for cores. Music therapists recommend Mendelssohn's "Spring Song" or Gershwin's "An American in Paris" as a cure for migraines.

Mozart's music has a universal effect - and all experts are unanimous in this. It has a truly magical effect: for colds and headaches, depression and mental stress. Moreover, the effect of the music of the great Austrian extends not only to people, but also to domestic animals and even to inanimate objects. For example, in Europe they found that cows who regularly listened to Mozart's works gave more milk, and the Japanese believe that Mozart makes bread fluffier and sake rice vodka more fragrant.

WITH MUSIC ALL DAY

If you love music, then you can make a musical plan for the day, which will help you to maintain cheerfulness and peace of mind throughout the active part of the day.

Sonatas and concerts by Antonio Vivaldi, serenades by Franz Schubert perfectly disperse morning drowsiness. If you don't have the time or inclination to go for a morning jog, turn on Hugo Wolf's Walking Journey. The symphonic sketch "The Sea" by Claude Debussy, "Awakening of the Birds" by Olivier Messiaen, the overture "Dawn on the Moscow River" by Modest Mussorgsky, "Morning Mood" by Edvard Grieg, "Morning" by Richard Strauss have a refreshing effect.

A cup of strong coffee in the middle of the day will be replaced by Handel and Mozart, and to prevent fatigue, you can include Grieg's Musical Morning or Tchaikovsky's The Four Seasons in your sound diet. If you have not been able to avoid conflicts or unpleasant conversations at work or at home, works such as Richard Strauss's Home Works, Johann Sebastian Bach's Peasant Cantata, Ludwig van Beethoven's Song of the Flea, Silk Ladder ”and“ The Thieving Magpie ”Gioacchino Rossini.

Before an important meeting or conversation with strangers Many experience feelings of insecurity and even fear. In this case, Bach's preludes and fugues for organ, Tchaikovsky's Fifth Symphony, all orchestral works by Alexander Scriabin will help. Bach's music, by the way, is very effective if you have to do hard intellectual work. When you need to concentrate, the Sounds of Nature collections also help a lot.

Music has a positive effect not only when it is listened to, but also when it is sung - favorite songs or just favorite tunes. There is even a special musical exercise - singing certain sounds. This helps to relax, loosen up and focus your thoughts on the desired object.

More often than others, the singing of vowel sounds “a”, “y”, “o” is used for medicinal purposes. To relieve pain, it is recommended, having taken a comfortable position, continuously sing one of these sounds for several minutes, while concentrating on the focus of pain. However, it’s not at all necessary to be so smart, sometimes it’s enough to sing a few lines from the last hit, no matter who performed it - Pugacheva or DeTsla, to distract yourself from bad thoughts, throw out the accumulated energy and regain a good mood. So feel free to purr to yourself or sing along to your favorite singer while listening to his songs on the radio.

WHEN THE MUSIC CRIPPERS

For sure, in the older generation, this name will cause stable associations with rap or heavy metal. “Alas” for them and “cheers” for fans of these styles: it has been proven that the healing power of music has nothing to do with its aesthetic value. It happens that a work, wonderful from the point of view of a musicologist, does not have any healing effect on a person. Moreover, there is music that can be harmful to health. Works in which the laws of musical harmony are violated, with an uneven, intermittent rhythm, and frequent dissonances adversely affect the cardiovascular system and breathing. There are cases when listening to such music led to cardiac arrest. Of course, the complaints about rock music are largely justified. But at the same time, rock musicians have created many works that are impeccable in terms of rhythm and harmony, delivering many pleasant and useful minutes to their fans. So the question of the dangers of any rock or rap music is quite controversial. The only fact that is unequivocally recognized by all doctors is that excessively loud music is really harmful to health.

It has been experimentally established that the beat of drums, exceeding 100 decibels, leads listeners to a fainting state.

SOME THINGS

Don't stress! Music helps only when it is listened to, and does not just provide musical accompaniment to disturbing thoughts. Music should, as it were, pass through you, completely filling your consciousness and thoughts.

Don't overdo it! Listening to, say, a Beethoven symphony for an hour can have the exact opposite effect: not only will it not relax, but it will cause irritation and fatigue. A few minutes is enough for a session.

Adjust the volume! Even stimulating music should not be turned on to the fullest - this again irritates and strains the body.

The main thing is to like it! Even if you did not find your favorite music in the lists recommended for listening. If the melody awakens pleasant feelings and memories in you, this will definitely have a beneficial effect on your condition. In this case, Zemfira may well compete with Tchaikovsky.

When listening to music, always imagine that it sounds only for you. If you do not have much free time, it is enough to set aside a few minutes a day for this, preferably in the evening. Even they will have a positive effect on you. By changing the repertoire, in a month you will feel that you have become more confident and calmer.

Listen, sing and be healthy.

March 30th, 2018

Modern world filled with sounds. Man is constantly in the sound environment. On the street, people hear the noise of cars, human speech. At home, household appliances make noise, music sounds, voices are heard. In nature, the sound of a stream, the singing of birds, the crunch of branches underfoot and other sounds are heard. All sounds have an impact on the human body: some have a positive effect, while others can have a negative effect. Let's try to figure out exactly how sound affects the human body.

So what is sound?

Sound is oscillatory, wave motion of particles in solid, liquid or gaseous media. These wave movements, in the range from 16 Hz to 20 kHz, are perceived by the organs of hearing.
From a physics point of view, there is no difference between sound and noise. Noise is what we usually refer to as uncomfortable or unwanted sounds. What unites sound and noise is that they represent a certain vibration, wave, or energy in space.

Sound waves have different parameters.
1. Volume.
2. Frequency of sound waves.
3. Duration of sound exposure.
4. Rhythm (it mainly concerns music).
Each of the parameters, depending on its value, has a beneficial or harmful effect on a person, which has long been studied by scientists.
Let's give examples. The singing of birds, the sound of rain, the sounds of the forest and the oncoming waves, as well as classical music, the voice of a loved one or a loved one -
Remember how these sounds affect you.
These sounds calm our mind, make the brain more sensitive, able to create.
The sound of a hammer drill, the roar of an engine, screams, rock music, harsh or rude words -
Remember how you feel when you hear these sounds.
They create tension in the body and its nervous system. The work of the brain begins to change, it tries to find a way to secure a person. In such a sound environment, the state of inspiration and creativity is impossible, because this is a stressful state for the body. Very loud sounds, low frequency and high frequency sounds can completely block and even destroy the brain.

Doctor of Biological Sciences Tatiana Vladimirovna Chernigovskaya, whose research is all related to the study of the brain, said: "The brain is the most complex thing in the universe."
The brain can be compared to a very delicate and sensitive mechanism. It regulates the processes of human life, and it is very sensitive to any external influence that can either improve or worsen its work, or even block it. One such external influence on the brain is sound.
Realizing the importance of this topic, we will try to develop the most necessary rules of behavior in the sound environment around us.

Let's consider the sound parameters in more detail.
Loudness is the parameter of sound that we immediately notice and which is the easiest to control.
Loudness, or the intensity level of a sound, is measured in decibels. The human ear is capable of perceiving sound from 0 dB to 160 dB.

For clarity, let's compare the intensity of different sounds: a barely audible sound (hearing threshold) - 0 dB, medium-loud speech - 45-50 dB, vacuum cleaner, coffee grinder - 75 dB. The sound of the metro reaches 80-95 dB, the roar of an airliner taking off - 120 dB.

At concerts of rock and pop music in the center of the hall - 106-108 dB, near the stage - 120 dB.
The noise level of 20-30 decibels is practically harmless to humans, this is a natural background noise. As for loud sounds, the permissible limit here is approximately 80 dB.
A sound of 130 dB causes a strong pain sensation in a person, and at 150 dB it becomes unbearable for him. At a sound level above 160 dB, a rupture of the eardrum and lungs is possible, more than 200 dB - death.

An example from life.
The military has long been interested in the effect of sound and has created acoustic weapons that use dangerous combinations of a certain frequency and volume of sound. Such an American acoustic weapon, for example, was used in Georgia on November 7, 2007 to disperse an opposition rally. An acoustic gun was installed on a special machine, which directed a sound beam of 150 dB over hundreds of meters. People who got into the affected area experienced a feeling of fear, panic, pain. Many were admitted to hospitals with damage to the hearing, heart, other internal organs and nervous system.
This is a very clear example of the dangerous short-term effects of sound. But prolonged exposure to sound makes even weak sounds dangerous.

The harmful effect of loud sound is very pronounced at rock concerts. Listeners near the speakers can simply go deaf. Rock music is difficult to perceive, it is a strong burden on the nervous system and the human brain. But the harmful effect is aggravated by additional interference and noise that occurs when sound is reflected from walls. Therefore, attending rock concerts in enclosed spaces in most cases poses a danger to the hearing organs.

In modern large cities, where noise pollution exceeds all norms, a person instinctively seeks to protect himself from the noise pursuing him, including with the help of music.
Many use players or phones for this, which allow you to listen to melodies and rhythms according to your own taste and mood instead of annoying noises. But here, too, lies the danger, and therefore doctors are sounding the alarm.

It turns out that continuous listening to music with headphones is dangerous for human hearing.
Why? The fact is that, trying to protect himself from noise, a person turns on the player at an even higher volume. Both sounds are superimposed, creating additional strain on the ears.
If at this time a person chews something, this worsens the situation even more. When chewing, the opening and closing of the auditory tube occurs, which enhances the harmful effects. If this happens constantly, then the nerve cells of the hearing aid die. As a result, the person begins to hear badly.
The noise level has a direct impact on our reading skills, problem solving, memory, attention. They are aggravated by exposure to noise.
The researchers concluded that the higher the noise pollution, the more difficult it is to concentrate.

The following parameters are rhythm and frequency of the sound.
They show up clearly in music. Like other parameters of sound, rhythm and frequency can have both positive and negative effects on the human body. This effect is not as obvious as loudness, and this is its cunning.
The fact is that many modern musical styles, such as rock, jazz, various areas of electronic and popular music, have a rhythm that does not coincide with the natural rhythm of the human body. By manipulating frequencies, musicians can influence the brain and psyche of a person, suppressing his will, causing addiction to such music, the desire to listen to it, introducing him into a state similar to a drug. As a result, the brain loses its unique abilities for sound judgment, analysis of situations, and creativity. Such music destroys the body and, above all, the brain.

Rock music has a strong "trace" effect on the brain, where it takes a long time for teenagers to restore their original brain rhythms after listening to such music.
The results of studies have shown that within 10 minutes after listening to rock music, “traces” of its activity are stored in the brain. And this means that if you listened to music before the lesson, then during the lesson for at least 10 minutes your brain will not be able to switch to the perception of educational material, but will continue to “listen” to this music.
This effect of rhythm and frequencies is explained by the fact that the human body, like everything in our universe, is in a state of vibration. Each organ, tissue and cell has its own "healthy" frequency. If, under the influence of external sound, this frequency changes, then the whole frequency setting of the body gets lost, it starts to get out of its natural state, which entails the occurrence of diseases.
Usually the most sensitive or weak link in the body suffers, it can be the nervous system, stomach, respiratory system, heart, brain. Every person has their own weak point.

The healing power of sound.
Sound can be healing. Even a sick organism is able to restore its normal activity with the help of sound.

The positive influence of certain types of music is used by doctors. These are classical and folk music, church music, ringing of bells, music for relaxation and meditation.
In our country there are scientists - experts in the field of music therapy, for example, Professor Sergey Vaganovich Shushardzhan. You can read about his discoveries and ways to heal with sound in the manual.

The most common sound that affects us
is human speech.
Speech itself has no destructive physical parameters. Even screaming is less harmful than the sound of a perforator. But the strength of this type of sound lies in its semantic load and emotional coloring.

The effect of a kind word is similar to the beneficial effect of classical music. And the impact of abuse is on the destructive impact of hard rock. Although just loud speech can serve as a harmful factor influencing other people.
No wonder word therapy is now used in sound therapy. Some words and sentences, pronounced with a certain intonation, carry an energy and healing charge. So the mystery of folk conspiracies and spells was unraveled. The greatest healing power is possessed by prayers that carry not only semantic meaning, but also the real positive energy of words and sound combinations.
Folk wisdom reflected the power of a kind word in proverbs:
A kind word heals.
kind word that sip of water.
The winds destroy the mountains - the word of the people raises.

It turns out that sound can create different forms.
“If you want to know the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration,” said the greatest inventor of the 19th century, Nikola Tesla.

The science of cymatics has clearly shown that the vibration of sound changes the form of matter. Vibration is a creative force that forms an infinite number of living forms in any environment according to the laws of harmony.
As we can see, sound is real power.

Let us now turn to the problem of noise.

Especially noisy in the cities. In large cities there are a large number of places where the noise level is much higher than the permissible sanitary standards. Being in such places, people are in danger of deteriorating or even losing their hearing, experiencing a negative effect on the nervous system and brain. For example, people who live near highways and in noisy industrial areas live an average of 7 years less.
The question arises: what to do in such a situation?
Silence is very necessary for a person, especially at night. It has been proven that the lack of silence during sleep has a negative effect on well-being. The body fails to fully recover, there is irritability, a state of fatigue even after waking up.
Russian legislation tries to protect people. Sanitary standards, headed by Federal Law (FZ) No. 52 of March 30, 1999, are guarding the peace of citizens. "On the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population", operating throughout the country. And since January 1, 2017, amendments have been made to this Law.

From legislative acts.
Let's add: at night it is permissible to make noise within 30 dB, during the day - no more than 45 dB (with the exception of repair work). Watching TV with loud sound and loud conversations in this case become noise. Repair work is not allowed on weekends and holidays. Silence must be observed during the day from 13:00 to 15:00.

For disturbing the peace during the time prohibited for noise, the violator faces a fine. Individuals who disturb the peace of residents of an apartment building will face a fine of 500 to 4,000 rubles, and organizations will have to pay from 40 to 300 thousand rubles (depending on the region).
We all need to know our rights and responsibilities.

What do you think each of us can do to reduce the noise level?
To answer this question, let's remember three very important things:
– around us are the same as we, people: they can be a source and a victim of noise at the same time,
Golden Rule morality says: “Do unto others as you would like others to do unto you.”
Everything in life is determined by our choice.
Based on the foregoing, we can give the following answers to the question “what to do?”:
1. First of all, you yourself must comply with the adopted laws.
2. Reduce the volume of everything we listen to: TV, player, player. Try not to create unnecessarily loud sounds, this is loud speech or music, slamming the door and more. Maintain silence in the evening and at night. Remember that the people around us suffer from noise.
3. Use personal noise protection equipment: anti-noise or regular earplugs. Remember to adjust the volume of the music in the headphones.
4. It is necessary to consciously approach the choice of music.
5. If possible, avoid noisy places: cafes, concerts in unsuitable halls. Pay attention to the sound environment of the place where you are. Make suggestions to the administration about the volume or undesirability of music. If you refuse, you can just go somewhere else. In some cafes, in order to “keep the client”, they meet requests to turn down the volume of the music.
6. Demand creates supply. If people look for quiet places, buy noiseless equipment, choose harmonious music, speak out about the undesirability of noise to those on whom it depends, then the noise problem will gradually begin to be solved.

Everything in our universe is in a state of vibration, including the body of each of us. Every organ, every bone, tissue and cell has a "healthy" resonant frequency. If this frequency changes, the organ begins to get out of the general harmonious chord, which leads to illness. The disease can be cured by determining the correct, “healthy” frequency of the organ and directing a wave of this frequency to it. Restoring the natural frequency in the organ means recovery.

A rigid relationship has been established between the frequency of sound vibrations, specific organs of the human body and physiological processes. Thousands of experiments have been carried out on plants, animals and people, proving the effect of sound on a living organism. Mimosa and petunia from major melodies grow much faster and bloom two weeks ahead of schedule. Under the influence of classical music, cows give more milk. In dogs of the Pinscher breed, blood pressure, depending on the melody, can vary by 70 mm Hg. The dough rises several times faster and becomes more magnificent and tastier from Mozart's music. In Japan, they conducted an experiment in which 120 nursing mothers participated. One half of them listened to classical music, the other half to popular music. In the first group, the amount of milk in women increased by 20%, in the second group it decreased by half.

The music of Bach and Handel, written in the Baroque style, has a relaxing effect, improves memory, helps with learning. foreign languages. Most of the works of Mozart, Vivaldi, Bach have an ideal rhythm - 60 beats per minute, which corresponds to the natural beating of the heart.

Music, in which sounds, rhythm and musical pattern are subject to the laws of harmony - consonance, has a beneficial effect on the health and development of not only a person, but also all living beings. The so-called music of nature is very useful. The sounds of the sea, the sound of rain, the voices of dolphins soothe, pacify, the sounds of the forest lower blood pressure, normalize the work of the heart, the singing of birds helps to collect thoughts, causes a surge of positive emotions.

At the heart of all known species Sound therapy is based on the principle of resonance. Correspondence of the frequencies of sounds to the structural structure of human tissues and organs, and the correspondence of musical rhythm to the rhythms of the processes of its vital activity leads to the fact that sound and music, according to the principle of acoustic resonance, have a very deep and multifaceted effect on almost all functions in the human body (blood circulation, digestion, respiration, internal secretion, activity of the nervous system and brain), as well as on the spiritual development of a person, his emotions, desires, feelings.

All therapeutic effects on the human body with the help of sounds can be divided into three areas:

1. The impact of sound waves on a specific organ of the human body to restore its natural healthy frequency.
2. The use of musical art for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
3. The use of speech, poetry to restore the harmony of the soul and body.

Using the research results of Dr. Jenny, who studied the shaping properties of sound waves, Dr. Manners invented an electronic device, called "cymatic". He restored the diseased organ by directing a wave at it, the frequency of which coincided with its natural frequency. The previous level of vibration was restored in the organ, which entailed recovery. The cymatic computer memory contains thousands of compound harmonics designed to return a diseased body to a healthy state. Each organ and each disease has a specific frequency associated with it.

Overtone singing is based on the same principle. Causing vibration in this or that organ, the vowel sound activates it and fills it with energy. The “point of impact” depends on the tone of this vowel. Medicine knows no safer and fast way local stabilization of blood supply, oxygen saturation and energy inflow. Jill Purse, an English overtone singer, has repeatedly stated: “Overtonal singing has a powerful healing effect ... When you sing, you begin to notice such physiological and psychological processes in your own body that are impossible to catch in the normal state. Since overtone singing requires incredible concentration, areas of the brain that were previously inactive come into play. And when this happens, you suddenly realize that the doors to another, upper world". The composition of Stimmung is nothing more than a single chord that sounds for seventy-five minutes and during this time does not change by a semitone. The chord is made up of only vocal harmonics (overtones) - the second, third, fourth, fifth, seventh, ninth. There is no fundamental tone among them ... It took the singers half a year to learn how to accurately sing the overtones - the ninth, tenth or eleventh, thirteenth - up to the twenty-fourth ...

Sound "A" makes the chest vibrate and activates the entire sound range in the body, gives a command to all cells to tune in to work. At the same time, oxygen consumption is deepened.

In China, many centuries ago, music was used quite widely, ancient Chinese approaches to diagnosis and treatment included physical effects (acupuncture and cauterization), including music on biologically active points. Music has been an integral part of the whole life of the Chinese. The principles of the five sounds (pentatonic) were consistent with the five types of intonation in Chinese, with the mysterious laws of nature, with the five dense organs of man and his five senses. Music, an instrument and even a note were selected according to the energy state of a person's meridians, as well as according to the time of year and the energy of the day. In Europe, the mention of the treatment of nervous patients with music refers to early XIX century, when the French psychiatrist Esquirol began to introduce music therapy into psychiatric institutions. In the 20th century, music therapy began to be widely practiced in various European countries.
In principle, all methods can be reduced to three main areas: clinical, health and experimental music therapy. Clinical MT deals with the treatment of various psychosomatic disorders, the elimination of pathological syndromes, the restoration of impaired vital functions after illnesses. Health-improving MT is used to activate the reserve capabilities of a person, relieve nervous overstrain and fatigue, combat monotony, to increase efficiency, social adaptation, development of mental and intellectual abilities, general health improvement. The newest direction is experimental MT, the tasks of which include the study of reactions that occur in living systems of various levels as a result of MT - exposure. Particularly promising are studies of the reactions of cell cultures, changes in the structure of water to musical influences.

Vocal therapy is a method of psychosomatic activation of protective and adaptive reactions, which is based on healing properties classical singing and includes exercises on acoustic stimulation of vital organs and exercises that increase the adaptive and intellectual-aesthetic abilities of a person.
This method combines the use of internal (vocal training) and external (receptive music therapy) acoustic signals of a complex anharmonic nature with a frequency from 16 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
VT is especially effective in the treatment of chronic diseases of the lungs, bronchi, cardiovascular diseases, reduced immunity and general resistance. There is evidence of the benefits of singing in Alzheimer's syndrome. The method was developed by Shushardzhan Sergey Vaganovich - leader Russian school music therapy. Since 1990, he began to engage in treatment with the help of music, vocals, defended his doctoral dissertation and created a department of musical rehabilitation at the Academy. Gnesins.

The sound generated during singing only goes into the external space by 15-20%, the rest of the sound wave is absorbed by the internal organs, bringing them into a state of vibration. In the process of singing, vibrations of all human organs were recorded, and the maximum amplitude of oscillations for each organ was on “its own” note! The VT method leads to positive dynamics of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, to increase the adaptive functions of the body, to increase the vital capacity of the lungs, to normalize the electrical activity of the brain, has a positive effect on the psycho-emotional sphere of a person and significantly improves the "quality of life".
