The manufacturing companies are not at fault. They were let down by a company from India, which has been the main supplier of guar gum for more than half a century (for example, in last year India supplied about 800 thousand tons of this ingredient to the world market). At the same time, there were no claims against the Indians before. But now they are in serious trouble. According to experts, in the near future the volume of supplies of guar gum may decrease by 20%. Meanwhile, the causes of the incident are not yet clear. EU experts will travel to India in a few days to clarify them.
